True friends come but once in a blue moon.
Not many people realize it, but its true.
Think about it and tell me true,
who would care if something happened to you?
True, your family would be there,
as well as a few friends,
but true friends help you through,
not just stand there beside you.
A true friend tells you when your wrong
or totally out of whack.
Who'll tell you up front the truth,
not hide things behind your back.
Who'll come when you call,
without questions galore.
Who'll help you no matter what,
not sit back or ignore.
A true friend will help you
sort out thoughts when in a bind.
A true friend lets you think for yourself,
not tell you how to run your life.
And when you find that true friend,
let them know how special they are.
Tell them your thankful for being there for you,
because tomorrow they may be gone.

Whats the world comming to
when you can't live without fear.
working late at night, on the road,
or even in your own home.
Fear someone might hurt you,
where ever you go.
Fear someone's following you,
especially in the shadows.
Killing innocent people,
when they've done nothing wrong.
Taking the life of a loved one
from a family unknown.
Causing terrible chaos in lives of others,
is that to make yourself feel better?
Stop the violence, show some love,
before something happens
to the ones you love.
