OBITUARY: CHARLES WHITE, ROSSVILLE, DIES, RITES PENDING
  ROSSVILLE - Charles P. White, 78, Rossville, died Saturday in a Topeka
hospital after a short illness.
  He was born in Jackson County Jan. 24, 1884, and had lived in Rossville and
the vicinity most of his life.
  Mr. White was a Charter member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge and was a past
master. He served with the Marine Corps during World War I.
  Survivors include a daughter, Doris Townsend of South San Francisco, CA; a
son William White of San Rafael, CA; one granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Grace
White and Mrs. Daisy Rice, of Casitas Springs, CA; and three brothers, Arthur
White, South San Francisco, CA; James White of Waukesha, WI, and Norman White,
Rossville.
  Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Rossville Methodist Church with
burial in the Rossville Cemetery.
  Penwell Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
