EX-WAUKESHAN DIES IN MILWAUKEE
A severe thunderstorm, the latest and most violent of a series of storms that
have struck Waukesha County and portions of the state in the past week,
caused some power failures and three deaths in the state Sunday night...
A former Waukesha man, James White, 43, now of Milwaukee, was killed in an
auto accident in Milwaukee during the storm.
James White, 43, a former Waukesha resident now of Milwaukee, was fatally
injured early Monday morning during a storm when he lost control of his car
on a city expressway and struck a bridge abutment. White, a civil engineer
for Milwaukee county and graduate of the University of Wisconsin, was to
attend the Waukesa High School Class of 1943's 25th reunion Aug 3 in Waukesha.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; one daughter, Patti, at home; two sons,
Jeff and Michael, at home; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. James A. White, Waukesha
and four sisters, Mrs. Robert Carlson and Mrs. Gwen Keppler, both of Waukesha,
and Mrs. Jsoeph Gottleib and Mrs. Clayton Evans, both of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Erling Larsen Funeral Home
the Rev. Herman Thomas, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officating.
Burial will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
