OBITUARY: MISS MINNIE M. WHITE
Funeral services for Miss Minnie M. White, 90, of 3905 Emerson Av., who died
yesterday at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness, will be
held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Vaughan Funeral home. Dr. John L. Wolfe will
officiate and burial will be in the IOOF cemetery. She was born in Wadeville,
May 17, 1881, daughter of the late Albert J. and Amanda Wile White. She was
a member of the United Methodist Church, and had been a teacher in Wood County
for a number of years. She was graduated from the Nursing School at Cook
County Hospital, Chicago, IL., after which she worked as a registered nurse
for many years. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ava Culver of Parkers-
burg, and Mrs. Beulah Howell of Walnut Creek, CA.; Three nephews, Albert D.
Howell of Adelphi, MD., Dr. William H. Howell of Walnut Creek, and Robert E.
Gross of Riverside, CA. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m.
today. The family requested that flowers be omitted.
