Roy Faidley, 101, of Newton died of pneumonia Wednesday at Skiff Medical
Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home
in Colfax, with burial at Colfax Cemetery. Mr. Faidley, a retired farmer, was
born in Colfax and moved to Newton Health Care a year ago. He is survived by
two daughters, Marjorie Maxwell of Collins, and Marvel Baxter of Boise, ID;
five sons, Myron of Hatfield, AR, Lloyd of Newton, Loren of Phoenix, AZ, and
Kenneth and Ramon, both of Colfax; a brother Cleo of Prairie City: 23
grandchildren, 43 greatgrandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Colfax Senior Citizens.

OBITUARY: CLEO R. FAIDLEY
Cleo R. Faidley, 98, of Prairie City ided of a heart ailment Wednesday at
Clearview Manor, where he was a resident five years. Services will be at 11
a.m. Saturday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax and burial will be in
the Colfax Cemetery. Mr. Faidley, who retired from Maytag Co., lived in
Colfax all his life and was an Army Veteran of World War I. He has no immediate
survivors. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the
family will be present from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made
to the care center.
