kuala besut at sunrise.. i always take the overnight bus from KL and arrive at kuala besut in time for a most stunning sunrise..
its a 25 minute boat ride to perhentian island from kuala besut in one of these boats..

looking out into the south china sea from long beach, perhentian island. this is my favourite of perhentian island at the moment, taken in october 2004 just a week before the monsoon!

you will get petani beach all to yourself..
