the jetty at tonsai bay, where we arrived from phuket
stunning look into ao loh dalum bay high above the hills of view point resort. i personally prefer staying on this side of the bay (as opposed to ton sai bay) as it was nicer and quieter..especially at sunset.
i wished i stayed here, at phiphi pavilion resort on au loh dalum. very nice bunglowes for 900 baht (with aircon) not a bad price for pricey phi phi! (NOTE: after the tsunami that hit phiphiisland on boxing day 2004, i doubt this resort is still existing.. what a shame and my hearts goes out to them..30.mar.2005)
we bargained a long tail boat at tonsai pier to go to maya bay, and i decided to capture it in black & white.
maya bay, where they filmed the beach, i couldnt help but to immitate the quintessential thailand photo here.. hehe!
the bay in front of phi phi island village goes way out during low tide. i had to walk miles (??) out into the bay to capture this image which winnie thought of me being insane and obsessed with my boat photos.. but quite nice huh! one of my favourite photos at koh phi phi.
phi phi island was littered with these kind of flower decorations.. verrrry nice!
a pretty waterlily found at koh phi phi island resort.. just to point out that the island was by very beautiful and stunning in every aspect, just as this flower!
