How to move a circle?

Source Code: [Download SWF & FLA]

Most of the people needs some basic concept on any concern. When i am new to this Flash, i found very difficult to move one object from one point to other point along one path or direction. Once i got it, from there on-wards, it seems funny! How this can be achieved, we will see in this tutorial.

1. By default, when the flash application is loaded, new file with its default name "Movie1" will be visible in the "Title Bar" there in the application window.

or

If New file was not opened, then choose, File > New, Click on Ok.

2. Draw a circle by selecting Oval Tool, leave the Stroke and Fill Colour as it is. No matter whatever color it is.

3. Select the circle. Now, it is tricky. Before you make an object to move from one point to other point, you need to make it as a Movie Clip. This can done by Choosing Insert > Convert to Symbol (or F8 Key-Stroke). This invokes Symbol Properties. Give a name as "ball" towards "Name" text editing box. In the behaviour, default was set to "Movie Clip". So, leave as it is and click on Ok button. Now, you will notice that, ball was still selected or created as Movie Clip, we can say as instance of the ball.

4. If you see in the Timeline, then filled Keyframe is positioned at 1 (beginning point).

5. Now, goto 20 (or any) position in the Timeline and press F6 to select ending point.

6. If you observe, still ball was in selected mode. Now move that ball to any desired position or point.

7. Now, select the beginning point in the Timeline, Right Click, Select "Create Motion Tween".

8. Test the Move, press Ctrl + Enter. That's it, now the ball will move from one point to other point.

9. Save the file by choosing File > Save As and give a name as "MovieCircle". By default, Flash saves the file with ".FLA" extension.

That's all my dear friends.
