| Released from 1955 to 1962 by Madame Alexander, Cissy was the first of the modern fashion dolls. She has a mature figure and high-heel feet. From 1955 to 1959, she was the most prominent doll in Madame Alexander's catalogue, despite her high price. She continues to be highly sought after by collectors, and Madame Alexander released reproduction Cissy dolls beginning in the 1990s. |
