| Make a decoction of turnips, sweeten with honey or sugar and drink
before bedtime. |
Gargle with a warm infusion of agrimony, sage, or rosemary or with
a tincture of purple coneflower. |
Mix together a large spoonful each of slippery elm flour and sugar.
Stir into a teacup of cold water and season with nutmeg. Pour this mixture into
1 pint of cold water and boil. |
Blend 1-3 tsps powdered slippery elm bark with 1/4 cup water in a
saucepan until it's smooth. Add another 3/4 cup of water and boil. Simmer 15
mins on low heat. Add 1-2 tsp powdered mullein and remove from heat. Steep
10-20 mins. Strain. Reheat before drinking and add honey and/or lemon to
taste. |
