These thumbnails link to pictures of my 1949 International KB-5.   I picked it up in Pagosa Springs, Colorado in September of 1999.  It has 58,000 original miles, is rust free, and has only a few minor dings.  The engine is an IHC Green Diamond 233 rated at 90 HP and 181 Ft. Lbs. of torque.  Behind the engine is a 4 speed unsychronized transmission and a 2 speed rear end.  It weighs 7,200 pounds with the sides on and drives suprisingly smoothly for its size.

The three pictures above are the first glimpse I got of the truck.  My father went to look at the truck for me and brought these back so that I could see it.  Thanks Dad.

Pretty neat isn't it?

I really like the original burgandy you can see in the interior shots.  I think I will paint it that color again.  The nozzle on the radiator is a bit strange, it is very deep and the cap does not seal well enough to pressurize.  I wonder if I have the wrong cap or if the nozzle has been replaced?  The night shot is of the reflectors that are stored on the drivers side cowl.  Each of 3 pieces opens up to display 2 3" reflectors.  This is one of my favorite things on the truck.  Below are some shots of the chassisand engine.

I couldn't resist putting this one in.  As I was crawling out from under the truck, I looked up and thought, "That would make an intersting picture".  Different at least.
