Mini-blinds come in a variety of sizes. Depending on the company, they will charge you a flat fee per blind and then a little extra for any amount over a specified length or width. Sometimes they will give you a quantity discount. Sometimes all you have to do is request a quantity discount based "other companies offering one"... Sometimes you CAN "pit" companies against each other! The problem that I see with that is if you go with a company that is willing to undercut their competition, then I have to wonder if their work is based on quality and high ethical standards. The best way to have your blinds cleaned is with an ultrasonic machine. That basically means that they will be using sound waves to "knock off" the dirt! One thing to remember too is that the older the blinds are and depending on how much direct sunshine they get, the more likely they are to flake and lose some paint in the cleaning process. The companies won't claim responsibility either. You will be required to sign a waiver releasing them of any problems short of negligence. Blinds should be cleaned about once a year to achieve optimum years out of them. The longer blinds go without cleaning (as with anything) the more damage occurs. Try to stick with the same company too. Switching from company to company to try to pinch a penny will lead to a variety of disappointments and/or satisfactory results.
