| This is the second half of the picture. On December 15, 1930 sixty homes were wired and ready to communicate. This mural depicts a documented phone call between Dr. Dewey's wife and Dr. Alfred Eide on December 26, 1931. Dr. Dewey aroused earlier than usual Mrs Dewey stated, and called her. They were discussing club matters when his talk suddenly became unintelligible. Followed by a loss of consciousness. Dr. Dewey never fully regained consciousness. |
