| Waking the Beast | |||||||||||||||
| Waking the Beast is the Alliance Avatar quest that drops the level 72 Avatar weapons. Due to the number of Astral Flows, a Summoner Alliance is ideal for completing this quest! |

| What the Quest Involves: | |||||||||||||||
| 1) To do the quest you need a Rainbow Resonator. To get one you must speak to Carbuncle in La Theine Plateau. He will give you one if you are able to summon all 6 primes. Not just defeated them, but actually have the pacts to summon them. | |||||||||||||||
| 2) With the Rainbow Resonator one must go to all 6 cloisters and defeat all the primes in an Alliance fight and acquire the key item called an "eye". There is one "eye" for each prime. | |||||||||||||||
| 3) Once all 6 "eyes" have been gathered, the alliance must go to Full Moon Fountain to do a final battle with all the primes, and Carbuncle Prime himself! Note: you can only enter the Full Moon fountain if you have all 6 eyes, OR if you have completed the quest before and you are just entering to help somebody else who has all 6 eyes. | |||||||||||||||
| Quirks to the Quest: | |||||||||||||||
| 1) This is one of the more difficult quests in Vana'diel. The reason being is the time and organization it takes to complete. Everybody who is coming MUST stay for the entire quest from start to finish, otherwise the entire alliance will suffer once they get to Full Moon Fountain. | |||||||||||||||
| 2) The number of items that are dropped from Full moon Fountain is proportionate to the number of people entering have all 6 eyes. Meaning the more people with all eyes, means more item drops! | |||||||||||||||
