| It was thanks to Luc Morisod (president of the A.F.M. in Vevey) that Mythical Arrangement made their concert debut. At this early stage, the band was still made up of Berro, Tim and David. After the first couple of concerts, it was obvious that a rythm section was missing. This gap was eventually filled by Jenny, drummer/percussionist. Little by little, new instruments such as the double-bass, piano and didgeridoo are being introduced, again increasing the melodious and harmonic diversity of Mythical Arrangement. After several more gigs, the group released a five track EP in October 2000 called "Drowning". The first three (Sister, Words and Lying on the Sun) were recorded at Full Range Studio, Vevey.The last two (Insane and Swallowhole) were recorded live in concert at the Th��tre Interface in Sion. More and more, electric guitars - absent at the beginning of the group - are being used, again giving a more varied sound to the repertoire and extra power to certain songs. However, most of the songs remain acoustic in origin. |
