| Myth Adventurers Guild Code of Conduct |
| Here be the Myth Adventurers' Code of Conduct: I. Be RESPECTFUL of yer guildmates and to other Alliance folks - If ye have disagreements that can't be worked out amongst yerselves within the guild, Wallop or another officer will be glad to mediate for a resolution. As a member of Myth Adventurers, yer representin' us out in the community at large - wear yer guild tabard proudly and don't be bringin' shame to it! Any said shame brought to the Myth Adventurers by ye will result in havin' a meetin' with Wonk's Dwarven Boot o' Guild Removal. Good deeds are remembered and spread, yet misdeeds are are remembered longer and spread even faster! II. There shall be no griefing of any other folks, be they Alliance or Horde. If you are a victim of griefing, follow the proper World of Warcraft reporting procedures. Any verified reports of griefing done by ye will get a brief meetin' with Wonk's Boot o' Guild Removal. III. Maturity and fun CAN go hand-in-hand and it's expected of ye as a Myth Adventurer. Those Myth Adventurers that prove themselves to be disruptive influences or difficult to get along with are encouraged to seek another guild that suits their like-minded playstyle (see Wonk's Boot o' Guild Removal). Keep yer language as clean as ye can, or at the very least, have yer language filter on so in case there is a moment of great stress and a naughty word slips (as it happens every now and then with Wonk (*sigh)), it won't offend yer fellow Myth Adventurers. IV. It goes without saying that Myth Adventurers help each other when we can - specifically, in regards to questin', group explorin', craftin', and such. It does NOT mean that such things are mandatory. Also, this is a BEG-FREE guild, meanin' that we have a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy for begging within the guild as well as any Myth Adventurer begging outside of the guild to other Alliance folks. Again, knowing this policy will save ye from feelin' the awesome justice of Wonk's Boot o' Guild Removal. Let's be honest: the treasures that drop off the beasties/nasties are quite plentiful and craftin' yer own items are wonderful aspects of the World of Warcraft. Ye'll have our respect as well as yer own if ye actually work fer yer treasures. Again, begging is unseemly, immature, lazy, and completely misses out on one of the most rewarding aspects of the game. If ye choose to loan or give coins, weapons, armor, etc. to another Myth Adventurer, ye are doing so of yer own choosin' and yer own risk. We're open to creating guild quests for rewards (but really, there are already soooo many out there in the world already - trust us, our quest logs are usually maxxed out!) V. Myth Adventurers encourage open, honest, thoughtful, and thought-provoking discussion on the Myth Adventurer website forums. Controversial posts and threads will not be deleted; however, personal attacks won't be tolerated. Inflammatory (troll) or obscene posts will be edited/removed from public and general membership viewing. VI. The Code of Conduct may, from time to time, be amended as seen fit by the Myth Adventurers. |
