-J.K in her name stands for Joanne Kathleen.
-Before J.K Rowling wrote Harry Potter, she taught French! (Oui oui!)

-Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone was published by Bloomsbury in 1997, and has led to worldwide fame of the author and her best selling series about a boy a sorcerer.
-When she was six, J.K Rowling wrote her first book called the Rabbit
-Ms. Rowling has written two more books, in addition to her four original Harry Potter Books, titled Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
-Proceeds from both books will go to Comic Relief UK to help famine relief in Africa.
