Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermoine, Ron, and the Weasley's. He want to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that's supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn't happened for a hundred years. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth book in the Harry Potter Series, and a pivotal one since it come in the middle of the action of Harry's journey thorugh sorcery school and through life. Harry's now 14 and more on his mind than magic. He has a crush, like most boys his age, on a girl named Cho Chang, who he often dreams about. And, he's just about ready to make a permanent move away from the Dursley's, the vicious family he lives with. Unfortunately for Harry. nothin is ever easy, since he's not your normal boy, even by sorcerer's standereds. But beyonf the danger that comes in his extreamely long and action packed Harry Potter installment, there is lots of excitement, like a special competition between his school and two other rival sorcery schools that hasn't taken place in a hundred years. | .:New Characters:. 'Mad- eyed Moody': No one quite knows why one of his eye's are blue, but I guess that is why they call him what his name is! His real name is Alastor Moody. He is one of the best Auror's though . . . Madame Maxine: She is the princible of Beauxbatons.. She is a half giant but denies it, ha! Did you know that Maxine in French means big or wide . . . now doesn't that name fit? Victor Krum: The youngest seeker to ever participate in the International Qudditch Cup. He was also the contestant from Dumstrang to participate in the Triwizard Tournement He also fancys Hermoine. Fleur Delacour: Another of the Triwizard contestant. She is half-vella (I think I can relate to that!) and ever guy is pratically in love with her. She is also a student of Madame Maxine and has silver long hair with her green eyes. Bardy Crouch: One of the hardest working members of the Misinsrty of Magic! Although he has a mysterious past . . . He refers to Percy as 'Weatherby', even though he seems a work aholic and quite, is there something he is hiding . . . ? Loudos Bagman: Used to be a death eater and used to be a beater in Qudditch, but now he is just a follow member of the Ministry of Magic, even though he is a bit greedy and owes money to some powerful people! |
