The Forest Cities

The greatest fetes created by the Forest Elves are the Cites themselves. The Capital Cities location is know only to the elves, the great Dragons of  Drakedare only because the Iron oak tree touches the clouds. No Race out side these 2 and the Krillions know the exact locations of any of the Wood Elf cities. 

The Capital City

Name: 

Peri'djvu

Population Size:

250,000+ Civilians         20,000 Military Personnel

Information:

The Capital City was named for the Forest. It was only right that the first colony of wood elves be named for the forest that was there home. The Capital was built around one of the Last surviving Iron Oak trees. This tree became a symbol to the elves. The mature tree was soon turned Part of the City. With buildings around the Base of the great tree; the tree allowed the wood Elves to Carve homes into the tree itself. 

The Capital City is now a network of stairs bridges, and building; inside, around, and on the tree. With the highest point of the tree touching the clouds themselves it is a cite to behold and marvel. The Castle where the king rules from sits atop where the tree trunk stops and the branches start.


 

The Great Cites

Name: Druthu

Population Size:

200,000+ Civilians

35,000 Military Personnel

Information:

The Second City, build was named for the First king of the Wood Elves. It is also the Trading Center for all of the Peri'djvu. It is here at Merchants gather among the markets trading goods service, and money for there needs. this is Also the Only City set Near the forest Edge; with that as the Case The is a larger military presence should someone attack or cause trouble

As with the Capital City; Druthu is built inside, outside, and around an iron oak. While match less the Grandeur are the capital city it is no less a site to behold. The great markets sit at the Base of the Tree, merchants of all races are welcome but are forbidden for enter the Tree city itself. To do so means prison or death.

Rivendale

Population Size:

Information:

Rivendale was the First city actual Built among the Tree tops. Masses of rope bridges and Planking To which the City is built upon.

Rivendale the artesian city. It is here that the Greatest works of art are found and formed. But for all the works and wonders to come from this City; Rivendale is almost known for the Weapons produced. 

The elvin metal workers turning out swords, shields, spear and arrow heads. It is a sad sight indeed; To see the wondrous colors of paintings and turn around to see the furnaces and metal forges.

Sojourn

Population Size:

Information:

Sojourn is the last of the Great Cities. Built up in the tree tops and down near the forest floor. The City of Sojourn is known for it animals; Sojourn is a City for the Trainers. Sojourn Best shows the Balance the Wood elves have created with the Animal world around them.

Great Stables at the Base on the Trees. The Homes to the Elvin steeds; Horse with great speed and stamina. There are The Great Hawk nests among the tree tops. The Wing Beast also call the Forest there home and would gladly help to defend it. There are Rumors of a great Eagle nest Hidden at top of one of the trees. Such a beast has not been seen in the years since the Split. 

The Older Of the Trainers tell stories of myth beasts that once roomed the Forest. the great Griffon or even the rare Hippogriff. Most see these stories as nothing more then that; stories. But the Elder trainers say they know better.


Outlying Homes

There are many small towns and villages built out around the Great Cities. These communities often depend on the Cities for goods and protect, among other things. Most cities like the Great Cities are built up among the tree tops. Those few that are built on the ground are at defendable positions near the Forest edge. It is more often then not to encounter a wood elf dwelling away from the form the cities and villages.
