I was in heaven. I was in the presence of two totally hot looking babes,
both carrying Isabel's face. Thank you, God, I sent up in a silent whisper.
These two soda cans in my cans would be the key to the gates of this
paradise.

"Ladies, frosted beverage?" I offered, glancing hopefully at both Isabel and
Lonnie.

"No three ways tonight, Opie," Lonnie turned down my offer. Three ways? The
mental image that word projected almost unmanned me. Almost took out the
sting of rejection. Almost, but not quite. I walked off, feeling dejected. I
saw Isabel smiling slyly. And felt I just got dumped all over again.

"Well, at least Lonnie didn't give me that 'You're such a great friend'
speech." I consoled myself. Thank God for small favors.

"Yo, soda boy! Over here!" Rath called out.

"Me?" I looked around in surprise. I placed the two soda cans on the floor.
They didn't do any good.

"Yeah," he confirmed. Rath walked over to me, a grin plastered on his face.
Somehow that grin did nothing to allay the sudden squirt of alarm that
jumped through me. What did he want?

"Shot you down, huh?" Rath asked conversationally.

"Crashed and burned," I said ruefully, slightly nodding my head.

"'s okay. Threesomes can be drag sometimes," he continued.

"You ... you've been in a threesome? With Lonnie?" My mind reeled with the
images. Lucky son of a bitch.

"Yeah, me, Lonnie and Zan used to do it, you know. For kicks," Rath preened
and smirked.

That wasn't the threesome I had in mind so I replied lamely, "Oh. Good to
know that," and started walking off.

Rath came up behind me and uttered a suggestion that had me staring at him
in shock. "So how about a two-fer?

I wasn't sure I heard him right so I asked, "A two-fer?"

"Yeah ... me ... you," Rath's hands were signaling him. And me. Whoa! If the
pope himself had come down from Rome and said he wanted to boink me, it
would have been as much of a surprise as that statement.

"Um, I'm not ... you know, that way," I stated emphatically. There. That
would be the end of it.

"Who said I was?" Rath responded with another smirk. "I just think a lil
sumtin' spicy can be fun in between some sugar," he continued, jerking his
eyebrows up knowingly.

My face must have looked dumbfounded. My mind went a little blank too. "Uh,
okay. Whatever," I hedged and started backing off. I turned away, intent on
getting far away from this strange Michael clone as possible.
Before I had taken three steps, I felt a hand take me by the scruff of the
neck and swivel around.

"Hey, what .... Mmmmpppppphhhhhhhh!" I managed to get out.
Rath took my shoulders, grabbed my chin and forced my mouth open. With his.

"Oh, my god, he's got his tongue halfway down my throat. Geez," I thought,
all flustered.

I flailed against him, trying to dislodge the tongue that was now running
against my teeth, the roof of my mouth and trying to play hockey with my own
tongue.

Finally, I managed to wrench myself away, but not before Rath's teeth took a
little bite of my tongue.

"Ow! That's ... that's ..." I was speechless. So I let my hands do the
talking. My fists clenched and I let them fly.

Unfortunately, my fists missed their target. The jerk ducked out of the way,
I lost my balance and fell to the floor.

Rath simply laughed. He ran his fingers cross his lips to wipe off some
excess saliva and grinned like a loon. Didn't even bother to offer a hand to
help me up.

"Don't ever try that again," I warned him, as I got up off the floor.

"Or what, soda boy?" Rath taunted me.

"Or I'll kick your ass," I said with force.

"Like to see you try. Think you could take me?" Rath egged me on.

"I kicked his ass before," I inclined my head in Michael's direction. "I can
kick yours too!"

"Better have your eyes checked first. How's the tongue?" Rath continued.
Oh, he was asking for it. This time, I plowed into his midsection.

"Oof!" I heard a gratifying whoosh of air being sucked out of him as we
collided. Both of us lay on the floor, with me on top of him. I held down an
outstretched hand with one of mine, intending to plant him a facer with my
other hand. I looked at his face, intent on rearranging it. He merely
puckered up his lips and blew me a mock kiss.

"Why, geek, you surprise me. Didn't think you were into rough foreplay,"
Rath leered suggestively.

"Not with you," I shot out, slightly slamming his body to the ground before
disentangling myself from him and getting off the floor.

"You don't know what you're missing," Rath smiled as he got up.

"Look, I don't know what the hell your problem is, but I am not on whatever
weird alien stuff you're into, okay?" I shouted out, intent on defending my
manhood.

"Whatever you say. Bitch," Rath winked at me. And walked off, whistling.

"What the hell was that?" I asked myself. I looked around the UFO Center to
see if anyone witnessed that display of "spicyness". No one. I almost went
down on my knees in gratitude. If Liz and Maria had seen that, I would never
have heard the end of it.

I ran my still sore tongue over the roof of my mouth. And tasted Rath. A
shiver ran through me. Spicy. Yep, it was definitely that. Think of sugar,
think of sugar. Isabel. But Rath's tongue was all that came to mind. I
shivered again.

"Man, I gotta get out of here." I shook my head. Nope. I wanted to hang
around. Not for Rath and more of his two-fer ideas. I had to stick around
for Liz, Maria and rest of the gang.

"Yeah," I told myself that. I found Liz and Maria sitting off in one corner
of the building. An empty lounge chair sat by them.

"Alex, you okay?" Maria asked me. I merely looked at her, then trained my
eyes towards the direction of Rath. And glared.

"Just tired. Need some sleep." I plunked myself down on the lounge chair and
closed my eyes. Liz and Maria scurried off to one side and talked about
something. I didn't know what it was about and I didn't care. All I wanted
was to get my head straight again and purge all memories of that incident
with Rath. As sleep closed over me, I whispered one thing ... "spice."
