Frigid and Deepfreeze

You notice a gleam from the edge of the willowing meadow, and out of curiosity you investigate. A small pocket of the meadow is covered in...snow?

Intrigued by the abnormality of snow in the middle of a sunny, grassy meadow, you take a couple steps further until you notice that the snow is very clean cut - the line between snow and grass is very distinct. There is a small thicket area where a creature could get shelter from the cold breeze that seems to permeate the area. However, a couple snowman, and varying states of being built, are scattered about.

As you approach, you notice a white equine with silver splotches on it, and a lovely blue knit scarf wrapped around it's neck. The equine sees you approach and lets out a nicker. Another equine face, this one darker with a white blaze and a purple scarf, peeks out from behind a snowman.

The lighter one speaks. "Good travels! I am Frigid, and this is Deepfreeze. Do you fancy a warm drink?"

You blink and furrow your brow.

Frigid laughs, a soft sound. "Our glade is enchanted. I much prefer the wintertime - something not often seen in magical realms." She moves towards a table in her glen where you notice two mugs sits with steam rising from it. She daintily dips her lips in it and makes a happy 'mmmmm' noise. "I love hot chocolate...especially when it snows!"

Deepfreeze wanders up and takes a sip from the second mug. Three little critters with fluffy tails dart out from the snowy banks, two of them crawling up Frigid's scarf, and one perching on a snowman. Deepfreeze explains, "These are Kirrih, another creature native to our homeland. The two on Frigid are Holly and Berry; the other is Corncob." His voice is soft, and thoughtful.

You look up to see enchanted snowflakes start to fall. They land softly, leaving cold droplets of water on your skin. Frigid and Deepfreeze seem to positively beam in the cold weather.

However, you are getting rather chilly. You bade the two Faymaah farewell, leaving Frigid to her drink and Deepfreeze to rolling snowmen.
