THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: THE MINISH CAP
Well, well, well...isnt this a turn up for the books...1 year after Wind waker and a new GBA game is released. I have waited a veeeeery long time for this game and what can I say...The wait was worth it. Legend of Zelda the minish cap delivers everything that a Zelda GBA game must have. The story that is presented is that Link a little boy (descendant of the hylians as we all know) lives with his granpa who makes swords for a living and he is best friends with...yep you guessed it, ZELDA. Zelda visits Link and invites him to a festival in hyrule town and link gets a sheild etc. etc. etc. but when they go to the castle a boy named Vaati tries to break the precious "Picori sword" to release a horde of monsters and turns poor Zelda to stone...Link get your sword and sheild ready for another slice and dice birds eye view adventure.

This game has all the of the same elements from the past GBA/GB/GBC games which also uses the L/R buttons that perform different tasks. But what makes this game different from the others... there are many elements that do that. The minish cap is a cap called Ezlo that can talk and allow link to shrink to the size of the minish people. This allows more gameplay and exploration creating 2 different worlds. I really enjoy this new feature and it works really well too...looks like link wont be needed the ocarina of time anymore (eventhough he gets an ocarina in this game). Another feature is the Kinstone fusion. Around hyrule there are many stones that have been broken in 2 and when they are put together something good happens. Link is able to collect kinstone pieces and then use them to fuse kinstones with people that you meet on your adventure. certain things will happen and then it is shown on your map so you know where to go. Now this game has a large inventory some of the items which are familiar and those of which are not familiar e.g. The Gust Jar which allows you to suck in enemies and items and spit them out again. This game has a great potential but is not one of the greatest Zelda games.

Gameplay
Now this game plays like all the past Zelda games that are on handhelds and has a few extras!!! The detail of the worlds and enemies look great
Rating: 9/10

Sound
Now this is the best element of this games, Songs from all the past games with some new songs and the end theme...Amazing!!!
Rating: 10/10

Lifespan
A downfall really especially when all the old Zelda games have great long stories but this game only has about 5 dungeons and then time to fight the boss...ok but it does have replayability
Rating: 8/10

RATING: 8/10
No doubt a great game!!! A must have for Zelda fans!!!
