WHY KreuZers’ MEMBERS LIKE CARS?
Why not? Different people have different interests and hobbies. So are KreuZers’
members. They are very passionate in cars.
Cars are like their best friends and they take care of their cars more than anything
else.
For the members, cars benefit them a lot. Different
members look at different perspectives on cars. Firstly, cars
become their best transportation in their daily lives. It makes their lives much
easier and better. They can go to school or work by cars. They do not have to
wait at bus station and get in the bus for quite sometime or get a taxi in order
to go a place they want to go. Hence, by having a car, they can go anywhere they
want at anytime they wish.
Secondly, members
like cruising very much. They travel from one place to another. They
enjoy this activity so much. That is why KreuZers
Club organized quite number of gatherings for this purpose. The latest gathering
that this club organized was on 10th October 2004. They gathered at
one place and cruised to Kuala Belait. There were more than 60 cars involved
during the cruising. Wow!!!! That’s interesting! So you better watch out!!
Next is looking at what type of cars they like…. You just name it! It’s everything! Old and classic cars, sports cars, saloon cars, new models, 4 wheels drive, luxurious cars, fast cars or even slow cars!! In conclusion, what make them like the cars…. they said that each car has it own uniqueness and quality. So, it’s no wonder then why some of the members are having more than one car in their garages. It’s their wish, their like and their money and they are cars lovers… so what can we say… Just WATCH it!! Hahaha…
Once
car become major part of their lives, they can learn many things to gain useful
knowledge and become informative about cars. They know the development cars
around the world by exchanging information with
friends or reading newspapers;
magazines or information through Internet or even by watching televisions. They
also keep in touch with the sports programmes such as F1, F3000, World Rally
Champion etc. Not only that, they also learn skill on the road, SAFETY
precautions and finally become FRIENDLIER ENVIRONMENT on the road!!
Once the members have their own favourite cars, the owners always do something on their cars….
This is about the relationship between the owners and the cars.
What they do with their cars? Modify?
Are they going to change something on their cars?
Some
like modifying their in-car entertainment (ICE). They like to add on sound
system, CD changers, VCD & DVD
players and TV
with remote control etc in their cars. Some into looks (exterior and interior). Here, they concern
about the how the body of a car looks like as well as the interior of the car. Including the colour
of cars, the body kits, rims sports, the wheel steering, the seats of
the cars like Recaro and Sparco and
any car accessories.
Finally, they will look into power (engine) of a car. Members who look at this area means that speed are important to them. This is because some of the members are active to involve any car race or sprint that held in or outside the country.
Therefore, amount of money spent depends on what each wants out of their cars. It could range from a few hundred dollars and go up to thousands of dollars.
Where
can they get the things they want for their cars? Parts are available from a
number of ‘specialists’ shops in Brunei. ICE parts from ICE shops; tyres from
tyre shops, body kits and engine parts are from other ‘specialists’ shops. Apart
from that, parts are also available for ordering online via the World Wide Web.
Since, they love their cars so much they take care of their cars very well. Maintenance wise each member who wish to modify his/her car to do it his or her own way. Most would send their cars to garages or workshops for maintenance work. However, only a few will do their own maintenance work.
CARS are VERY USEFUL to anyone if you understand the purpose of the car and how to use it very well. Nevertheless, it also may RISK your life!! Why they like cars? SELF SATISFACTION!!
