The same goes for the models on the show. There are 12 of them, one for each designer. Every week, one model gets eliminated until there is just one. The last model standing will get to do the spread in ELLE magazine.
I love this show because it really helps see how designing takes place. When you got to a fashion show, or see a fashion show on TV you hardly ever get a real backstage look. This also in my opinion is one of the best reality shows because, yes its a competition, but in the fashion world, its always a compition. Plus, it is really more based on your talent. The designers are not trying to marry some rich sap whom they will fall out of "love" with two week after the final episiode airs, or trying not to starve on some remote island. This really is a great look at what the designing world is really like.
