Battling Help

This section will guide you through on how to battle with others. Before doing anything else, you will both need to agree on:

1.)How many Pokmon are in this match?
2.)Will there be a bet?(Only money can be betted on at this time)
3.)Is this match a Regular Match(REM for short), or is it a Risk Match(RIM)?

Explanation:
1.)How many Pokmon are in this match?
You can pick from 1-5(for now) per match. Once you call a pokemon into battle, you may not retreat it.

2.)Will there be a bet?(Only money can be betted on at this time)
Any amount of money that you and the opponent both have, can be betted.

3.)Is this match a Regular Match(REM for short), or is it a Risk Match(RIM)?
In a regular Pokmon match, if your Pokmon is defeated, the opponent will be awarded regular TT(top trainer)* points and your Pokmon will only faint. However, in a risky Pokmon match, if your Pokmon is defeated, the opponent will be awarded doubled TT points AND your Pokmon will run from you and into the wild, so please do not get these two matches confused!

* = TT or top trainer points are awarded to a trainer per match for winning. If you have the highest top trainer points, you will be awarded an item decided by the owners each week. Not only that, but your name will be highlighted in gold AND you will be listed in the pokelog!

Now, onto battling itself. In this RPG we use stats as REFERENCE for the roleplayer. Once you enter a battle, the owner of the Pokmon takes on the role of the Pokmon. RPers should know their Pokmon's own limits - that is, if you're a level 5 Pikachu and you get hit with Earthquake by a level 60 Golem, you should know that you're out. Please remember to be realistic as well; taking the example from before, Pikachu would probably be hit by the Earthquake unless s/he jumped. And then, if by the time s/he landed the Earthquake was still going - well then o_o You're obviously KO'd. Battles are turn-based unless both battlers have decided to do speed based.

When your Pokmon faints, it will be revived in one Pokhour! That's equal to 15 minutes in real life time.

Pokmon Attack types are as followed:
Physical Attacks (requires ATTACK stat): Bug, Fighting, Flying, Ghost, Ground, Normal, Poison, Rock, Steel

Special Attacks (requires SPECIAL ATTACK stat): Dark, Dragon, Electric, Fire, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Water

If you have any more questions, feel free to message either of us on AIM (Kiwi Kaboomie or Dragonfree).
