June 26, 2003 crushes on fictional characters
Anyone like +Anima? Then if nothing else, go to this site, owned & operated by mi amiga poca. She's still setting up. *Sighs contentedly* You people have all got to read Jane Eyre. It is an excellent book, with a somewhat happy ending. Oh, and the Scarlet Pimpernel, as well. There's some romance in there, too. As well as un chico muy caliente. Except, since it's a book, you'll have to imagine that yourself. Heh. As for audio recommendations, I am currently hooked on opera. Dunno why; could be the whole obsession with Amadeus (a musical that everyone must absolutely be blessed with). Drew Carey gets punked on by the world; it's so sad. Die dulci freure, Crystal
June 24, 2003 that's a feel-good moment
I had an awful dream, one that rendered me in tears by the time I woke up. I remember very few of my dreams, and even fewer seem important enough to analyze and record. This, I believe, is one of those few. If anyone out there's got any experience at analyzing dreams, go right ahead, since I only go by dream dictionaries to interpret the main symbols. BEGIN DREAM Final part of dream; takes place in kitchen/breakfast room. The family is there, (eating?) at various places, instead of just at the dinner table. Aimee is playing with a little boy (Huy?), and both are carrying kitchen knives. The knives are longer than usual. They slash them through the air ruthlessly, running around the house, as if they are warriors. Instantly, I am shocked; I scream at everyone to take the knives away. No one seems to notice. I keep screaming, close to tears and hysterics, yelling at Aimee to put the knives down. Still, no one seems to notice. They calmly watch the scene, and if anything is abnormal to them, they raise their eyebrows at my hysteria. "They're only playing," they tell me. "Are you crazy?" I say. "They're playing with extremely dangerous things! Why aren't you telling them to stop?" It seems as if everyone but me is oblivious to the craziness of the situation. This goes on for a while. Later, Aimee comes to me. She shows me both knives; they are broken, obviously from some accident involving a wall or maybe some furniture. I tell her, "I told you so," and she gets angry; she gets up and starts to chase me with the (still sharp) knife. I run to the restroom and lock the door, hoping the door will hold. At the end of the dream, I am lacerated and dying from several wounds. I say to everyone, "Let the record show...that I very frantically, repeatedly, asked someone to take away the knives...and no one lifted a finger to do so..." No one seems to notice. They're still sitting in the kitchen, (eating?). END OF DREAM Well. What do you think? I think it's important; this is not the first time I've dreamed about my sister hurting me by way of knife while my family just watches. Chrystie
June 21, 2003 penny for me
Oyla. I made a wishlist, I couldn't help it. Everyone's got one these days. And I see why; it's kinda fun. Like shopping but not really, lol. Updates: I do believe I added an IM convo section (Me > IM Conversations), but that was a while ago. I'd add more than two, but it's killer trying to save an AOL IM and then going through and changing the font colors and faces. It's too bad my AIM doesn't work; all I'd have to do is save the whole thing as an .htm file. *Shrugs* C'est la vie. It was recently discovered that curiosity killed not only the cat, but the flighty songbird as well. Upon discovering an ample repository of sheet music, she flitted from song to song in a feverish state, eager to learn the entire repertoire, until, overwhelmed, she collapsed and died. Gibberish, I do believe that was. Unless you're me, and then you know what it means. ~Keestal =)
