#Rhydiach

Capital of the largest elven realm, Xovranlii, Rhydiach is a city built on a hectare island in the middle of a large lake surrounded by rainforest. All buildings are tall and made of grey stone ground level, wood for upper levels.
History of Rhydiach

Established hundreds of years ago Rhydiach was famous for being the largest elven city known to exist. Built by King Tsaeliorn and passing to each generation Rhydiach new prosperity and fortune for their city was one of illustrious trade. But during the reign of Queen Nisette the King Loakenn, her second husband and King of Kendred, the land of dragons, war errupted. Born to them was a set of twins, part of a fabled legend and upon their birth King Loakenn stole the first born, Serena, and returned to Kendred. The younger twin, Pirimba was raised in Rhydiach under the watchful eye of her tutor and uncle, a sorceror named Morgard. Expelled from the kingdom after being found trying to assassinate Pirimba to fulfil the prophecy of the legend he returned with an army he had sold his soul to posess. The War of Blood, The Great Fire of Rhydiach, were caused by Morgard and his army, bringing Rhydiach to ruins and killing all of its hundreds of thousands of elven citizens and all other races found within, leaving but less than ten survivors. Pirimba, having survived along with a sister and a brother who later died, Pirimba returned after two years to rebuild Rhydiach. After people had repopulated the rebuilt Rhydiach trouble once again befell them, this time at the hands of Pirimba's son Dante Loakenn. Being forced to kill him for the sake of her people Pirimba's daughter and the twin of Dante, Angelia, was also killed along with Pirimba's grandchildren Nicodema and Kyran. Having no heart left to rule Rhydiach Pirimba left her kingdom in the hands of her people and travelled abroad where she later died. Leaving her kingdom to her long time friend Azrael`DarkWater who then sought to find a new ruler for the kingdom for there was no descendant of blood thought to be left alive. Upon visiting Auqinan and helping to establish the airborn city of Clairvourne Azrael came across Pirimba, ressurrected from death and sheltering a younger sibling by the name of Moddwenna Mythlorathund. Unfortunately Pirimba fell gravely ill after her her to-be husband left her and lost her child, pushing her over the edge to be taken over by the Mannastone. Forced to go to the Labyrinth of Doom outside of the Gates Of Hell, Moddwenna was able to defeat the embodiment of the Mannastone and split the actual Manna Stone, the source of magic for those not born to it, in two and encase it in the natural elements for all time in effort to keep them appart. The success was not without its sacrifice. Mortally wounded Moddwenna was taken back to Clairvourne by her friends Dirk and the twins Blaze and Dallion to recieve healing. Fulfilling another prophecy they used the manna stone that held Pirimba's soul captive and implanted it into Moddwenna's forhead causing a transformation from Moddwenna and Pirimba into Niseya. Niseya then returned to Rhydiach, taking the throne and naming Dirk, the twins Blaze and Dallion, and Azrael`DarkWater as knights and protectors of the realm. Soon after war errupted again, this time with King Loakenn who took Niseya prisoner. After many weeks Azrael`DarkWater returned to Rhydiach with the badly tortured and wounded Niseya and the armed gaurds as well as Dirk, the twins and a woman named Jirel, defeated the general of the Kendren army and his men. Victory was declared but as with any evil, a new head rose in its place. King Deslordayden, King Loakenn's fifth son, took the throne after his father's death in the war and has sworn revenge. His minions continue to try to attack the city in sometimes subtle, sometimes outlandish, ways.
