Yugi Muto- Since he completed the millenium puzzle, he has a real talent for Duel Monsters, and an alter ego (Yami Yugi). He's kind of shy but really has a good heart. Currently, some of his friends include Joey, Tristan, Tea, Bakura, and Seto Kaiba. |

Yami Yugi- This is Yugi's alter ego. He is very powerful and smart and extremely good at Duel Monsters. He has the power to send people to a shadow world. He takes over Yugi when dueling and in certain other situations. After episode 22, Yugi worries about controlling his alter ego. In my opinion, though Yami Yugi helps Yugi, Joey, Tea, and Tristan, he is not good. |

|
Joey- Probably Yugi's best friend. He's quick to fight. With Yugi's help, he is becoming a good Duelist. Currently he is dueling to win money to keep his sister, Serenity, from going blind. |

Seto Kaiba- Was the CEO of KaibaCorp. Kaiba loves the game Duel Monsters, and was the Duel Monsters Champion. He was crushed when Yugi beat him in a duel. He changed for the better after that. Kaiba loves his younger brother, Mokuba, and would do anything for him. Pegasus kidnapped Mokuba and Kaiba dueled him to save Mokuba. When Kaiba lost, Pegasus locked Kaiba's soul in a card. Seto Kaiba is, by far, my favorite character. He really doesn't have any bad intentions. |

Tea- She has been friends with Yugi for a long time. She's very friendly and encouraging. She always sticks with her friends and would do anything for them. |

|
Tristan- A good friend of Yugi's, he is also a very good friend of Joey's. Him and Joey fight alot, but they'll always support eachother. Tristan is loyal to all his friends and is quick to help out in a bad situation. |
