~^Fallen Angel^~

A fallen angel from Heaven's glory devine,
You've lost your wings,
You've lost your power of any angelic kind,
Enslaved in a prison, made human once again,
Living in captivity,
Living in sin,
But through it all your grace stays with you,
I can still see it in your eyes,
Yet you look so troubled- so bothered by the pain,
I know you've been hurt before.
You're a fallen angel with nowhere to turn,
Waiting for the day that your grace feels whole again,
You're a fallen angel,
Fell straight into my arms,
You've captured me with your beauty and charm,
You're a fallen angel,

With golden eyes,
You see truth among the lies,
You're a fallen angel,
Sheltered by my heart,
Your beautiful glory, and subtle grace is tearing me apart,
I see that look of assurance on your face,
I don't know why you've chosen me to care for you this time,
But I promise to stand by you,
And always claim you as mine,
I'll show you all I have to offer.
You're a fallen angel,
With a heart so pure and eyes that I adore,
So timid; still I love you.
You're a fallen angel,
And I was here to break your fall.
