July 2006 we went to a great farm in Capertee Valley on the way to Mudgee NSW - approximatly 3 hours from Sydney. I had a wonderful time chasing rabbits - walking for hours through the bush exploring all the great smells and holes. When I arrived home I was so exhausted I sometimes fell asleep sitting up.
The Last Resort is a wonderful little cottage on top of a hill, there is a nice warm fire to sleep in front of. My mummy says it is basic but I loved it - if you want electricity and TV etc. enquire about the Kurrajongs. A lovely farmhouse with everything.
The Poplars at Glen Davies are very nice as well. |
