Stakati Wode B�leygr is an ent, originally a split personality within
the skull of Magefrost. This side was originally just Magefrost's
naturalistic tendencies, mixed with a built in propensity for nature
magic, but it grew. Eventually, when Magefrost could no longer stand
having such a multitude within him, he performed a long and powerful
ritual, which drove out the alternate personalities and gave them
corporeal forms. In this manner Stakati, Drakiel, Brandt, Osedax, and
Anihunota were born.
Stakati appears as an evergreen, a pine of some sort stretched 40 feet
tall, his trunk split below the 'waist' to give him legs. He has one
large branch that serves as an arm; where the other arm might be, there
is instead a big metal and mechanically steam powered arm. He lives in
the forest, in tune with it and doing what he can to protect his fellow
tree from those who might take advantage of their immobility.
