History:
Distantly related to Phillip Strife, Chris a knight of Ivalice and a personal bodyguard to the queen. Modeling himself after his famous relative, Chris set out to make a name for himself as a hero. During his travels he made friends with an Arlian named Shinji Soutome, a young farmboy/werewolf named Raven Saterno, and even (through a strange turn of events) became engaged to an Arlian woman named Suziko. Unfortunately, it was not to be between Suziko and Chris as a twist of fate caused Chris to have to kill her in order to seal a portal to the Abyss. Distraught in his inability to protect his friends Chris stole a black materia and was shortly after possessed by a half-demon named Damien. After killing a former love of Raven�s and his friend�s son, Inu Yasha stopped Chris and Damien was expelled from Chris�s body and the black materia was destroyed. Chris was restored by Inu Yasha�s son, Dan, and given a second chance. Chris now vows even more to make up for his past mistakes, and hopes to somehow come to terms with himself.
