Hedagast B�leygr was born dead. He is a ghost, a wraith, an apparition,
what have you. Originally a nagging inner voice of silliness and cheese
obsession, Osedax grew to be more within Magefrost's head, until he
could no longer take it. When Magefrost could bear no more the
prescences within his mind, he cast a very potent spell, draining
himself and casting out the other beings, giving them forms of their
own. So Osedax was born, but never quite made solid. The spell fizzled
and Osedax was born dead, a ghostly prescence. The poltergeist enjoys
haunting the castle, pulling pranks, debating on the benefits of cheese,
being possessed by demonic powers, and generally being an annoyingly
silly little bugger.
He tends to appear as a young boy, transparent, gray, and often with a
mischievous grin upon his features. Sometimes he will shift to a more
morbidly gruesome appearance, complete with ghostly maggots and gaping
holes.
