Format will be as follows: 3000 No Hand Limit, double deck, single elimination.
Some Td's might change format to 6 hand limit or for special games.(like no bid)
If you only have a few table you can chage the form to 3500.
In the event of a tie, a one hand tie breaker must be played to determine the winner.This needs to be confirmed by the acting host (TD). No rated tables.
GAME TIME
Please don't start your table until acting TD has told you to do so.
Any table that starts prior to the TD consent will have to reset the table.
Failure to do so will result in an automatic Dq.
Our tournament tables are 1 to 50. If you are not sitting at the tables assigned
by the acting host,you are not considered in the tournament. In the Social room,
if Singles and Pairs room is down, we use tables 1-25.
BOOTS:
Each player is permitted three (3) boots per round, and has 5 minutes to allow for rebooting. Please notify the acting host in the event of a boot. (player's name and table number)
If you are having a problem with a "watcher" please notify the acting TD under pm. Do not boot the watcher you will be DQ. Notify TD they will handle
the watcher.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
If a booted player doesnt not make it back in the allotted time of 5 minutes, then a substitute will be arranged by the acting host. If player wishes to use a "bot" if no substitute is available, they may do so. TD needs to find sub not the players, unless you are asked if you have one.
TD'S or bots may BE allowed in all rounds including semis and finals.
SLOW PLAY:
If a players is continously lagging,pm the acting TD. The TD will ask the player to
speed up.
SPORTMANSHIP:
We all are here for fun and competition. Please do not use insults or offensive language during tournament play.
Accusations of CHEATING will not be tolerated in "OPEN CHAT". If you suspect a "cheater" please pm the acting host. If you call a player a cheater in open chat not kidding around you will get DQ'd for a day.
TABLE TALK AND CHAT SOUNDS:
DO NOT discuss the hand in play in any language or signal by the use of any chat sounds .Use of AOL, MSN,Yahoo, ICQ or Net Meeting or any other communication device are NOT ALLOWED during tournament play. If you have been found using any such devices you will be automatically DQ'd.
FINAL ROUND:
ONLY Mysterys Td's or Bots can be used on the Final Round
FINAL SCORE:
If there is a dispute over the final score please the do following
1: DO NOT reset game.
2: Stay seated at the table and
3: Invite a host (TD) to the table to verify the winning score.
If the table is reset the acting host will ask to have a one handed game played and the team that wins that one handed game will advance to next round.
If there is a dispute over the game , the acting host(TD) will have the FINAL
decision.
