     Learn Japanese

Since anime was originated from Japan, I thought that it would be kind of fun to know some of the words that would be used in the animes that are aired in Japan.

A double vowel such as "aa" is not pronunced "ahh", the sound is held for twice as long. If not, the meaning of the word is changed. A double consonant such as "kk" has a slight pause in between the two sounds.
