| Rurouni Kenshin is about the wandering samurai (which is what rurouni means) Kenshin Himura. He was once known as Battousai the manslayer (Hitokiri Battousai), but he vowed not to kill again after he killed someone he wasn't suppose to. The show is about when Kenshin meets a girl named Kaoru Kamiya and he decided to stay with her after a certain event, and the adventures they went through together with other people they meet along the way.
