Eli is a transfer student from Britain. He appears in the Sakura arc, when Sakura changes the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards (named by Madison). He is much more mature than a regular 10-year-old because he has all the memories, and powers, of his past life as Clow Reed. He used this power to create his henchmen, Spinel Sun and Ruby Moon.

Ruby Moon is one of Eli's henchmens created by his magic. She, or it, is the counterpart of Julian, but she does remember things that happen while she's in her other form. She transfered into Tori and Julian's class and seems to have a crush on Tori, since she keeps on hanging onto him like how Meilin is hanging onto Li.

Spinel Sun is one of Eli's henchmens created by his magic. It is the counterpart of Keroberos. Unlike Keroberos, who's loves sweets and video games, Spinel Sun likes reading, peace, and quiet. Spinel Sun's true form is that of a panther with butterfly wings. His temporary form is that of a purple-ish black cat with transparent wings.
