Recently, it has come to my attention that
mobile phones emit RF signals that the Microware Leakage Monitor can
pickup. I have tested some models so far. Measurement is made at the
antenna tip and at the area where the ear is placed. My ratings are as follows: |

Unless otherwise stated, all other phones
are GSM phones. Personal Favorite: |
|||||||
| Panasonic GD90 & Samsung SH600 | Both phones stay in the Green zone all the time except for a brief moment after pressing send. | ||||||
| Sony CM-Z100 | The meter cannot detect any signal from this phone!! | ||||||
| Personal Dislikes: |
|
||||||
| Phones that have antennas built-in. The tip of the antenna always has the strongest signal especially after you press send. For such phones, if you don't place the phone properly to your ear, you may be directing the strong signal to your ear. | |||||||
| General Precaution: |
|||||||
|
Do not put phone on your ear immediately
after you press send. Wait for the call to be connected, then wait about
3-4 seconds before putting it near your ear. This is when the meter reads
green most of the time for most phones. Think about it: "What you cannot hear, smell, touch, taste or see may harm you." "The greatest regret in life could be to die because of someone else's ignorance." |
