     NBC was originally offered "Mysterious Ways' for last fall but passed on it.  However, NBC used the show as a mid-season replacement last season and is now airing season 2 on Friday nights at 8 pm ET during the summer.  Last I heard, it was still questionable whether or not NBC would keep the show on it's schedule for fall of 2001. Obviously, it would be good for the show to stay on NBC instead of airing only on PAX. PAX has a limited viewing area and is unable to promote the show in the way that NBC--with it's larger viewing area and higher level of financial support--can.  Therefore, it will be difficult for the  show  to build the audience and receive the ratings that it deserves on PAX. 
      If you enjoy "Mysterious Ways" I would encourage you  to contact NBC and ask them to keep the show on their schedule permanently.  There is an email link below for their programming department and I've also be added NBC's snail mail address.  (It's probably better to write to the snail mail address, as emails tend to get mis-directed, deleted, etc.) Please write to the cast and creator Peter O'Fallon as well to show your support for the show!  Don't underestimate your importance as a viewer!  Many shows (such as Party of Five) were saved from cancellation for SEVERAL seasons because of the amount of fan letters the network received.  If you want to see more great programming like "Mysterious Ways" get involved and WRITE!!
