BACKGROUND
She was born in the little village of Itarildë (I tar ilde). Her father had often told her of the sad condition of the elven nation—how the country was largely in the possession of the humans, and how the Knights did not dare to go against the Council.
And so the thought came to be ever in her mind, "How I pity my brethren!" She brooded over the matter so much that by and by she began to have visions of angels and heard strange voices, which said to her, "E’Ze, you can deliver the land from the Humans. go to the relief of Council."
At last these strange visions and voices made the young girl believe that she had a mission for the Council, and she was determined to try to save the Elven nation.
When she told her father and mother of her purpose, they tried to persuade her that the visions of angels and the voices telling her of her mission were in her head. "I tell thee, E’Ze," said her father, "it is thy fancy. Thou hadst better have a kind husband to take care for thee, and you would do good to do some work to employ thy mind."
"Father, I must do what the Council needs, the gods do not talk to me, I am not on some holy quest. I am fulfilling the Council’s need. Mother, I would rather sit by your side and study than take part in war. My mission is not a dream. I know that I have been chosen for this purpose and nothing can prevent me from fulfilling my duty."
The village priest, her young companions, her sisters, even the governor of the town, all tried to stop her, but it was in vain.
Little by little the Elves began to believe in her mission. At last all stopped trying to discourage her and some who were wealthy helped her to make the journey to the town of Celebriän (cel e brian), where the Council, was staying.
When E’Ze arrived at Celebriän, a force of Elven soldiers was preparing to go to the south of the Elven Nation to relieve the city of Alassea which the Humans were besieging.
The Council received E’Ze kindly and listened to what she had to say with deep attention. The girl spoke modestly, but with a calm belief that she was right.
"Oh, gracious Council," she said, "my name is E’Ze. I have come to deliver the Elven Nation from thine enemies. You have need to go to cathedral of Cirindë (cir in de). I will your soldiers you are sending for the relief of Alassea. I know these are your wishes, for I have heard them, in my dreams and under my guidance victory will be yours."
The Council gather and discussed in detail with the other warriors and knights for hours, but finally it was decided to allow E’Ze to lead an army of about five thousand elves against the Humans at Alassea, why only the Council knows.
When E’Ze left Cirindë at the head of her soldiers, she was barely a young adult. Mounted on a fine war-horse and clad in white armor from head to foot, she rode along past the cheering multitude, "seeming rather," it has been said, "of heaven than earth." In one hand she carried an ancient sword that she had found near the tomb of a saint, and in the other a banner embroidered with lilies.
The rough soldiers who were coarse and gruff carefully guarded her. She inspired the whole army with her courage and faith as she talked about her visions and her duty to the Council.
When she arrived at the besieged city of Alassea she fearlessly rode to the city’s walls, while the Human soldiers looked on in astonishment. She was able to enter Alassea, despite the efforts of the besiegers to prevent her.
She aroused the city by her cheerful, confident words and then led her soldiers forth to give battle to the humans. Their success was amazing. One after another the human forts were taken.
When only the strongest remained and E’Ze was leading the attacking force, she received a wound and she was carried off the battle to be attended by a healers. Her soldiers began to retreat. She said "Wait, eat, drink, and rest; for as soon as I recover I will touch the walls with my banner and you shall enter the fort." In a few minutes she mounted her horse and rode rapidly to the fort, touched it with her banner, and her soldiers carried it through the city crushing the humans before it. The very next day the enemy's troops withdrew from the city and the siege was over.
The Elf soldiers were jubilant at the victory and called E’Ze the "Maid of Alassea, the White Lily." By this name she is known in history. She has become an abassador to the humans. Many human leaders remember her dizzying tactics and galantry she brought to the battle, but none will deal with her. She has been forced out of the human’s courts and now she wanders the humans’ lands spreading her word and doing the Council’s bidding.
Family: Her family is a simple Religious Caste family that has served the faith admirably, even though her father married outside of his Caste, a Warrior Caste. Her father is priest and her mother is a Knight. Both of her sisters serve the Religious Caste (one is a paladin and the other is cleric). Even though they are serving different their faith it has actually brought them closer together. She has chosen to follow her mother’s path, the Warrior Caste.
Home: She grew up in the deep woods away form man and even most other species. She grew up in heart of the Elf Empire. She does not have a strong sense of national pride, but she has a deep commitment to the Council, not elves, not humans, and not even for herself, just the Council.
Childhood/Adolescence: Most of her adolescence and childhood she grew up on her small family estate. She did not excel at the arts, magic, not even simple tasks, but she did however excel at leading.
Professional History: Her part in turning the battle at Alassea is document in history. Since then, she has been reassigned to as an ambassador to “man’s world”, but the humans don’t trust her and have shut her out of the political power that the human nobles possess.
PERSONALITY
She is a quiet individual who does not get overly involved, but when she is in combat she takes charge and barks out orders with the best of them.
Attitudes: She likes humans and most other species, but she truly believes that Elves are superior to all others, but most of the time she holds her tongue and lets the ‘inferiors’ say what they want. She knows better.
Conceptions: She is destined for something important, as her previous actions have already proven. She still has visions and occasionally hears voices; maybe the Goddess is talking to her? She continues to listen and follow the visions, even to the detriment of her commanders.
Directives: She wants to become the next ‘Joan of Arc’ like the human’s tale of Joan’s adventures. She believes it is her destiny to ride into battle and lead the Council to victory.
Miscellaneous: Unknown
APPEARANCE
She is very attractive, even compared to other Elves. She is always well kept and keeps herself clean and respectful.
Physicality: She is above average height for a female elf (5’6”) and about average weight (87 lbs) with long blond hair, bright green eyes, and very large pointy ears.
Apparel/Belonging: She typically wears noble clothes and when traveling she is usually in her armor.
