Mother;

I apologize for not being able to send my letters it seems that my journeys have taken me farther from home than I had planned. We are in a city called Sharn, in a land called Eberron. I still don't really understand how we ended up in this strange realm. This world is not like our own. So much is different. I do not even know how to begin to explain this strange and bizarre world.

While in the city the party split even though we didn't plan on splitting. It seems that this party will never learn the true meaning of a team. I doubt if they will ever be able to blend together. Although i do have hope for a few of them. I hope that the ogre, ranger, cleric, rogue, and mage will actually form a great team, but the other two, well time will tell.

Archi ran into a old adventurer who was very pleasant and informed us about this world. He told us story after story about the strange events of the world called Eberron. In particular he was able to give us information about the city called Sharn. Later, after the party gathered at the inn I heard from the others. The cleric learned religion is only as strong as your belief, she dueled with another cleric and she was changed into a frog. The ogre and ranger had a night of debauchery, yuck. The mage talked to some type of wizards' guild. I believe that the druid, bard, and rogue went to the university, but they were unable to get any information. I was able to talk to representatives of the Elven Nation. It seems that the elves have developed differently here. Lady Tyeria was very pleasant and informative. She even arranged for me to see a professor at the university, a sphynx.

The sphynx was very informative and told us a lot about what we  needed to find and who we were up against, but unfortunately it seems she was unable to tell us everything. Again I find myself to believe we are on the short end of the stick. Damn, just once I would like to be go into one of these situations with a clear head and knowledge that is actually useful. I believe Archi doesn't like the druid much, I recall him calling her a 'bitch'. Boy, was she furious. I believe she was about ready to lightning bolt him on the spot. Later, after talking with the sphinx Archi offered the druid a peace token, a seed he ripped off of a tree in the garden.

Afterward, we took an airship to the citadel in hopes of retrieving the missing amulet shard. Then we marched for miles in some of the thickest bush I have covered. I sure do miss having a superb mount, Lancelot. We found the cavern entrance and proceeded to enter. The rogue and ranger scouted ahead and found a few guards playing cards. The ranger was turned invisible by the mage and proceeded to drive the guards crazy with her insane antics. If she was so darn useful, well she would probably be dead. We took out the guards rather quickly. Most of the party didn't even get into the fight.

We proceeded to scout around further. We encountered some minor earth elementals and defeated them. Finally, we found the largest earth elemental I have ever seen guarding a teleport ring. The bard charged in attempting to distract the elemental, but he was almost killed in a single strike. It seemed like everyone was just standing around and gawking, so I rushed forward and placed a cure light wounds on him and dragged him out. Archi stepped forward. Meanwhile the ranger and rogue had snuck around and they struck in a flanking maneuver. The mage was also working his way around. I finally managed to wiggle my way around to help Archi. Suddenly, and without warning, the druid struck everyone with an ice storm spell. Hurting herself, the ogre, the range, the rogue, and even myself. I believe I am beginning to see Archi's logic, but in fairness she did manage to hurt the earth elemental. Finally after a lot of combat we managed to strike it down.

Well I have to get back to work. I love everyone.

Love,

E'Ze
