Brother;

Well, brother, I am writing to you again. I still live, amazingly enough even with the cursed elf's inability to actually kill me. I will continue were we left off, in the cave. I awake to the geeing faces of Talla the human druid and Rain the halfling ranger. Amazingly enough the ranger seems to enjoy my company, well, maybe she hasn't had an ogre, you know what they say, once you ogre, you never go back. We gathered our wounded and downed comrades, including myself. Can you believe the ranger I am barely able to walk and she wants to have a rock throwing contest? Well, we headed back to town, defeated, but still alive. I guess that is better than being dead and filling some troll's belly.

Yah, I got the knight. I decided to go the indirect route. I slipped a piece of the butchered troll into the knight's backpack. She didn't even notice an ogre digging in her pack. Yah, elf knights, they sure are bright and perceptive. I guess some where along the trip the troll wiggled it's way of her backpack and she didn't even notice. Heck, even her horse Lancelot didn't bother to tell her or it didn't notice. I thought those moon horses were intelligent, maybe it's a two for one sale at the old brains store. You know I thought for sure her sword would have said something. Yah, I guess all that talking to her blade is a real indicator that she truly is insane. I thought that maybe the sword was intelligent, but I was wrong.

After a few days of rest and healing, lots of healing, tons of healing spells (hay, I don't even remember being healed, maybe I was talking too softly because nobody really listened to me, see what I mean about these humans they truly are prejudice). Yah, you may like having a ton of human breading machines, but me I think I would rather just eat them. Oh well, they do keep their word and pay me. I like pay. Then the idiots decide to go back to the cave and try a sneaker approach.

We get there and sneak attack two trolls at the top of the hill by circling around the back. The druid and ranger go towards the back and the mage and the rogue head up the flank, while the bard, cleric, knight, and myself wait (supposedly we make too much noise). Either way they heard the ranger a mile down the road and they were ready for them, but the mage and rogue did manage to surprise them. Well the mage decided to send us a cue by sending a fire spell straight into the air, so both the knight and the myself charge on in. The knight raced ahead and clips one of them. I spot one and hurl a rock straight at the ranger, yep I thought I would show her my advanced throwing skills. Lucky for her she managed to dodge out of the way. Well we managed to take the one out. It sure was funny, I guess my club slipped and the range slipped both at the same time and we both manage to knock the knight a good one. It was the funniest thing I have ever done or witnessed. She sure can be funny, but then  the other one starts running off. I pegged him hard with a rock, but not hard enough. Trolls sure are tough.

Well I head to the edge along with the range and we start pegging trolls as they come out of the entrance, but there were too many of them and just charged right up the hill. The rest of the crew start burning the one and we start pushing them back when the knight joins and finishes one off, show off it should have been mine. We manage to break the cave's entrance when that damned wizard pegs us with a fireball bead. We were way to clustered should have seen that coming, but damn so should have the rest of the party. Well, needless to say we retreated again.

We headed back to town. Now, the whole troll thing in the backpack didn't work so damn well. See the stupid non perceptive knight didn't even get attacked by the troll, no the stupid thing just ran away. It hid by the town making copies of itself (hacking off a limb and waiting for it to regenerate). Then we came back and the three of them attacked us in the middle of the night. The range and my self were working on one, the druid on the other, and the cleric and rogue on the third. Well at least the rogue woke us up, but not really in time. The troll really tore into both of us, but we got him. The druid was holding her own, but the cleric almost bit the big one the troll had and was ready to rend him. It would have killed him, but somehow he managed to wiggle free, luckiest man alive. We decided to kill the one on the druid first. Then we all converged on the last one. Boy, did we make a stinking bon fire that night. That's when the city guards decide to show up, big help they were.

Well we headed out a couple of days later, we were waiting for some armor for the ranger. Cutest little thing in a bikini, yep need to fatten her up first, but boy will she be tasty. We head back making plan after plan about how we are going to take the cave. Well it was one heck of a battle we used a darkness spell to blind the trolls and their pet manticore while we took on their mage and few more trolls. I managed to get on top of their wall and whacked the heck out of him. Somehow that messed up his spell and it created a big hole in the ground. I did what was natural, I pushed him in. Then the knight after being knocked down kicked hers into the pit. The rest killed theirs and we moved back and fire balled the manitore and the rest of the trolls. Killed manticore, but somehow two trolls survived. We killed them tossed them into the pit. Then they started to pour oil into the pit and they lit it. I guess the mage had more fire beads, because the pit exploded.

Well, I need to get back to work and start hauling this loot back to town. Too bad we destroyed all the cool magic stuff. Stupid party, destroyed the only thing work almost dying multiple time for, magic. Hmm, I think the ranger needs another pastry, she looks like she is wasting away from all that hard work.

Sincerely,

Archi
