Archi's Final Letter: 08-27-05
Dear Brother;
It is with great regret that I have to write this letter. Archi was a valued comrade, some would even say friend. Archi was like, even loved by his fellow comrades. We started off on opposite sides of the field of combat, but the truth is we were destined to be comrades at arms. During our many adventures, which I am sure he has informed you about, we met many challenges. It is without a doubt that Archi is the most fearless ogre I have ever met. He is without a doubt the most brave, trust worthy, and loyal ogre without a doubt. It is without a doubt the most unique individual I have encounter in my lengthy travels throughout this world and beyond.
Unfortunately, Archi met his end by a ruthless unknown werewolf assassin. We were patrolling the park for werewolves. We encountered them. Archi was ambushed and killed virtually instantly. I apologize for opening his last letter, but it was not addressed and we needed your contact information. Below is Archi's last words.
We have gathered his belongings and we are sending them to you. If there is anything else we can do for you please feel free to contact us. It would be an honor to meet Archi's family, especially you.
Sincerely,
Eleanara Zearana, E'Ze

Brother;
I am finally BACK! I can't believe it. Today we eat mutton and cow! Yah, it has been a long, long, long time since I have been able to write you from terra ferma. yes it is good to see the stars the way they were meant to be. It is hard to believe I am actually back.
Too many times it has been too close for me. Traveling with these 'humans' has been extremely hard on me. Numerous times I have barely survived too close of calls. I wonder if it is worth it. Although I will have to admit, I was wrong about the wood rat, E'Ze. She is far better than I would have believed. All this time I thought for sure she hated me, but only tolerated me because Rain, the druid, the bard, and even the rogue enjoyed my company. She was willing to sacrifice her life just to make sure she did not leave behind her 'comrades'. That is the most bizarre thing I have yet seen in my extremely lengthy travel in this world and beyond, LOYALTY from a wood rat! Can you believe it wood rats that actually have code of ethics! It is unbelievable.
Although, my near death encounters have cost me too many times. The individuals STILL have not gelled into a cohesive unit, a TEAM! F_ _ _ I_, I can't believe their stupidity. Believe it or not the dumb one is the one who knows what she is doing, most of the time. She still make stupid mistakes, but for the most part she see the whole picture, something the rest do NOT! I think it is time for me to go my own way and go back home I have a really large stash of cash and some really good magic items, yah it is time for me to head back.
Oh, I am heading back, but Rain just begged to to join them int he city at the park to stop the human scum from disappearing. After this short job I am done, I am coming home. I should be on the road by tomorrow, even if I do have to heal up. It should be a cake walk compared to some of the other encounters I have been through.
Love,
Archi
