Series 1 Episode 2:

Party Time

Screen Written by Trenton

Opening scene:

A local teenager Marilyn Joy is enjoying her new found time off and has invited some of her friends over for a little keger in her basement while her parents are away on a trip. She calls people up on the phone and asks them to bring the essentials. Meeting a few hours later they all arrive and start to drink and other things. Marilyn talks to Spring over in the corner of the room. They are discussing how boys really suck and how they wish they would just die. Without another word Spring says “Done” and vanishes. On one of the couches Randy Debit crumples over and begins to clinch his chest. Four spider-like legs come bursting out of his sides and his skin begins to rip off of his frame. His insides grow larger and eventually there is a monstrous spider standing there. Marilyn leaps for the ax grabbing it while one of her friends is impaled on one of its legs. The rest of the group runs to the only exit, the stairway. The thing then begins to spin a web around the door leading out blocking some of them in. The rest make it up the stairs and run. Some of the rest manage to break the bonds but with little else they can do flee as well. Luckily they have Marilyn. She swings the ax hitting the thing dead on slicing its side another blow and the thing goes down. Her overcome with adrenaline keeps bashing away at it until she is sure it’s dead. After that she huddles into a corner waiting for help to arrive clutching her ax the entire time.

Dante is at the church meeting with his allies within it. This would happen to be his holy water supplier, Father Nelson. In the confessionals collaborating and words of support are given to Dante to not loose hope (not Hope). Stepping out of the confessional there is a woman and her child ready to enter when suddenly the woman shrieks and drops her child. It starts to become a sickly green color with bugging eyes and sharp claws. It grows taller and taller until it reaches 4ft. tall. It pounces on its first target, Dante. Dodging its attack he pulls out a crucifix and brandishes it at the thing. It snarls in anger and lunges again. Again Dante avoids the blow. It grabs a candleholder and throws it into the confessional Father Nelson was in. Taking his cane in hand he reveals the blade within and assaults the creature with a flurry of strikes. Able to only avoid a few it soon it out matched and falls dead. The woman begins to scream and shout frantically at Dante saying that he killed her baby. Father Nelson scrambles out of the confessional at the same time and tries to douse himself, however, his wounds are fatal and he dies in Dante’s arms. Dante gets on the phone to the police station to send somebody down there.

Act2:

Ruby is at her new house settling into her room when Ms. Dunnal comes in to lay down a few rules. The more important ones are as follows:

                                    1) Must always be home by 11:00PM

2) Must do chores before leaving the house.

3) May have to do occasional errands.

4) You stay out of my stuff I’ll stay out of yours.

Ruby accepts them without much fuss and continues to unpack. After she is finished she requests to use the phone to call up Tristy. Ms. Dunnal agrees and Ruby calls her up. She asks her if she wants to come over and help her to get moved in and perhaps look at a spell or two. Tristy gladly says yes and starts to drive over. Before Tristy arrives Ms. Dunnal asks Ruby to go to the “Candle” shop for a bag of stuff that Gary has for her. Writing a quick mess age and posting it on the mailbox for Tristy Ruby is off to down. Within a couple of minutes Tristy pulls up in her car and goes over to the mail box to get the letter and reads it. She then spots Ms. Dunnal peering out from behind her kitchen curtain; waving to her she asks if she can come in. With the slide of no less then a dozen locks the door opens. Tristy steps in and it shuts behind her. Ms. Dunnal is nowhere to be found so Tristy sits down in a chair as she sees a cat come skidding across the floor chasing something. It rounds a corner and at the same time Ms. Dunnal walks out from behind it. Welcoming Tristy to her home she makes a pot of tea and sits downs at the table. Looking around her house Tristy notices an arrangement of assorted plants and herbs around the house. Inquiring where she got such exotic species, Ms. Dunnal merely said, “around.” Getting up again she exits into the kitchen. Tristy decides to have a closer look at one of Ms. Dunnle’s more beautiful pieces of flora. Then out of nowhere she feels this hand sudden gropes her. Spinning on her toes she looks behind her but no one is there. Ms. Dunnle’s cat comes scampering into the room as if chasing something. It stops and looks at Tristy and begins to hiss. Moving back against the wall the cat springs right at her but instead of hitting her it lands in mid air dangling from an invisible object. Tristy screams and runs from the room. Just then the cat is flung against the wall by this unseen force. Coming from upstairs Ms. Dunnle looks in to the kitchen and sees the scene (wait wasn’t she in the kitchen?). At that her hair goes stark white and falls to the floor. Tristy too collapses. The door flies open and slams shut as their invisible assailant flees the scene.

Act3

Ruby comes in on the scene and finds both people unconscious. She runs over to Tristy to see if she is al right; however, Tristy is still unconscious. Ruby calls the police and tells them to come quickly. The Cops arrive as well as an ambulance. Ms. Dunnle is sent to urgent care while Tristy is examined by a physician at the scene and is said to take it easy. After trying to make up a tale that the police will believe Tristy stays with Ruby and tells her what really happened. Ruby thinks it would be best if she were to stay here for the night but Tristy says that she need to tell her aunt what happened and start researching this. She tells Ruby to call up Mr. K and the others and inform them to research this thing. As Tristy is taken away by a police officer to go home, Ruby gets this really creepy vibe coming from the other side of the house. Going around the house Ruby sees what looks like a cemetery for pets. There was over fifty here, but the strange thing is that they where all buried in a traditional way of a familiar (you know witches and their black cats). Well after the comforting fact that there is a cemetery in her back yard she goes back into the house all alone. Ruby digs out her spell book and begins to read. Scene switches to Tristy getting dropped off and running up to the house, then up the stairway, then into a study like room where her aunt is. She Tells her aunt and they begin rifling through all the books in the library.
