Series 1 Episode 11:

Prom, Return in April, Address Unknown

By: Trenton

Opening Scene

The long lost Bob seams to be in a back ally way with the face of a vampire on and is being chased by five dark skinned individuals with painted faces and has strange combat techniques. They eventually grab him and knock him unconscious. Bob wakes up and they are all around him. Bob is chained to an alter and things are looking dire. He tries to struggle but that seems useless. From above him a glowing orb slowly descends until it is right over him. As the strange warriors hit the peak of their chant the thing slowly enters his chest. A new soul comes to the surface and his vampire visage disappears. The new comer to the body begins to try and figure out what is going on but the warriors stand silent. They then raise their hands and shout at the body to leave and suddenly the room shifts and Bob falls onto the ground of a familiar cemetery. Getting to his feat he spies two young people walking around and his face goes all vampy.

Act1

Debbie seems to be toiling in some sort of demon realm. She is chained in a line with several other people. She looks around but demon taskmasters are everywhere. Setting in for a nice little eternity of slavery and bondage she lowers her head and gets back to her work. From above a sudden scream and a demon falling from a higher place attracted everyone’s attention. A blond haired woman in a sort of schoolgirl outfit yells to them all to get up there and escape. Debbie does not need to be told twice and is the first one up. The young heroine points to the opening of a portal that leads somewhere. Debbie didn’t care where and she hurls herself through it.

Our party members are on yet another simple vamp hunt around the cemetery. They are walking past one of the larger crypts when a clamoring starts to come from inside. Approaching with extreme care they each draw a weapon. Just then the door flies open and fifty or so people come poring out. They all seem to be dressed for summer even though it’s the end of winter. They all manage to get out when they all start to wonder where they are. Tristy as well a Glen are baffled as to what had happened. It seemed that some of these people where from a place in California called Sunnydale. In either case Dante tells Glen to get the hearse and take them to the nearest gas station. She does so but before everyone is in a bunch of vamps come out of the shadows with a person who looks like Bob at the rear. At this Debbie who just appears out of the crowd of people stands next to Tristy and Dante ready to fend of these things. Dante however can’t believe that not only is Bob being escorted by a bunch of vamps but also Debbie has shown up after months of being gone presumed to be forever.

Act2

All of them stand together ready to fight and so are the vamps. Dante charges first and gets right up by them drawing his ax and hacking three of them with one stroke. Tristy then lets a stake fly from her hand straight to the heart of a vamp dusting them immediately. Before the vamps could even mound a defensive Dante comes around for yet another swing decapitating two. That’s when Bob suddenly goes all creepy with a strange vamp face. It looks as if a bat had just super-sized its head and stuck it on Bob’s body. If this wasn’t enough he leaps upon the nearest vamp biting its neck and sucks it dry. The final one totally out numbered with his leader killing one of his hunting buddies is shocked with terror. Dante comes up behind it and clubs it with the blunt end of his ax which knocks it out. Bob finishes draining his victim and then looks up to see the gang in front of him with weapons drawn. Reverting back into his normal self he asks them who they are. Tristy looks at him quizzically and tells Bob that they had been going to school together for the past five years. Bob turns his head with a puzzled look and says that he is not Bob and that his name is Brandon, Brandon Lee to be precise. Dante busts out laughing at the fact that Bob could possibly think he is a famous martial arts star. Dante again draws his ax and pelts “Bob” over the head.

Waking up Bob is strapped to a chair opposite of another vamp that seems to still be unconscious. Dante enters into his room with the two vamps seated. Bob suddenly adopts a new more normal vampire façade and glares at Dante. Pulling out a cross Dante presses it against Bob’s forehead and he screeches in pain. Removing the cross Dante asks Bob who had done this to him. All he could say was that a group of people where the last thing he remembers. Dante turns to the other vamp and smacks his cheek to wake him up. He is startled awake and then begins to hiss at Dante. Dante repeats the procedure he had done with Bob. Only this vamp said that a thing known only as Big Tom was one who sent them along with Bob and that Bob referred to himself as Brandon and has quite a skill for martial arts. Dante turns back to Bob and calls him Brandon but he says that that isn’t his name and he doesn’t know anything about this Big Tom character. Dante begins to put the pieces together that perhaps the strange men that Bob was referring to did something to him to place another soul into his body splitting Bob’s personality into two parts neither being able to know what the other is doing. Finding this to be very strange even for vamps and demons he leaves to use a payphone that can’t be traced to his house.

Debbie however makes as though she had never left and headed for home after the excitement. At home the first thing she does is call her father’s cell phone to see if she can get his credit card. On the other end Officer Nesser comes on but when he hears Debbie’s voice on the other end all goes silent except some noise that sound a little similar to those of an automobile accident. Hanging up the phone she strolls on over to her fathers secret money drawer and extracts a large some of money. She goes up to her room to get some sleep.

Act3

Dante has finally traveled a safe distance away from town and the sun is beginning to come up when he dials a number for the church. With great luck Sister Trinity answers the phone and the two begin to discuss this new breed of vamp Dante has seemed to discover. The kind sister tells him that he should contact the vampire registration bureau attached to the Vatican. He takes her advice and calls them a man answers the phone and immediately begins asking questions. Most are along the lines of where he was found, who created him, what distinguishing characteristics does it have, and what are its vulnerabilities. Dante tries to complete the questionnaire as well as possible but many would require him to perform the test upon Bob. After getting off the phone he heads home arriving he finds a package on the door to the house marked Dante. He grabs it and flies up to his room. Entering he finds that Bob or shall we say Brandon has escaped his bonds and just finishing his meal on the other vamp. Dante tries to rationalize with him and the Brandon side seems quite in control of itself. Setting him “free” (officially anyway) Dante enters into a contract with him that he wont kill Bob as long as Bob will keep his fangs to himself.  Brandon agrees and Dante opens his mystery package. Inside there is what appears to be a tracking device and instructions on what Dante are to do with it. He tells Brandon that he needs to keep an eye on him so he needs to place this tracer on him. Brandon consents and Dante puts the tracking device on him.

The women of the group begin to get ready for prom and invite Debbie to join in. However, she is already at the salon and has been that way since she discovered that prom was tonight. They doll themselves up, all of them except Hope who has decided to go to work and not join in the festivities. They pick out gorgeous attire and look fabulous.

Meanwhile Hope at work changes bedpans with her co-worker Kimi. They are in the supply room when Hope could swear she felt a prick in her side. Looking around no one is there so instinctively she reaches out fast into the air for invisible men. Kimi looks at her and asks if she is all right. Hope just says that she was going to take her brake. On the way to the break room, however everything begins to blur and before she knew it she had blacked out. Waking up she is in a dank cave like room and she is chained to one of the walls. Looking around she looks for floating objects but sees none. Shouting at nothing she hurls curses at the invisible man, but then Kimi comes down the stairway and says that Hope had guess again. Then before her eyes Kimi turns into an exact copy of her. Screaming Hope struggles to get free of her bonds but to no use. Kimi walks up the stairs laughing locking Hope in. Kimi heads off to prom.

Act4

Everyone converges on the high school for prom; even Dante has taken the night off but has taken Bob along with him. Tristy asks everyone if they are prepared for anything. At that Glen draws a concealed dagger from her breasts; Dante pulls a knife from a specially designed tuxedo in a horrible green color, Tristy and Ms. K hick up their dresses revealing garters with everything from stakes to pencils. “Hope” and Debbie look confused. Walking on in Tristy at the front the group makes a nice formation entrance. While everyone notices they only bring out the fact that it is just the nerds and freaks. Then everyone stares a they see Bob and Debbie in the crowd of “freaks” pulling them out they begin to chat.

Tristy will not stand to be categorized as a freak so she grabs Glen and frenches her right in the middle of prom. This works better than anticipated because while Tristy had just come out as a bisexual, she had no idea that Glen was thinking the same thing. So they both lost each other and gain a crowd of over sexed freshman and jocks. They give them a spectacle to see before the Pricipal came over to break it up. They head off to dance and talk about what had just happened. Debbie also takes this opportunity to express her sexuality dumping her date and planting one right on “Hope.” Hope resists but Debbie seems to be out of control at this point. Somehow she manages to get away and heads over by Derick.

The rest of prom goes exceedingly uneventful except “Hope” goes over to Dante and slides her tongue down his throat (my god will everyone please stop the insanity). At that point Dante becomes suspicious that something is up.  That’s when the vamps come in. suddenly the entire thing is overrun with fourteen vamps that have spent a great deal of time making sure that once they are in no one will get out. The student body panics and heads to the doors. The gang however is ready and takes action. All reveal their hidden weapons. “Hope” before she even has a chance to realize it is surrounded. They all begin to feed and she is dead in a matter of moments. Dante, Mr. and Mrs. K are thrust into a group trying to kill as many as quickly as they can. They succeed in dusting three in the get go. On the other side of the auditorium however things look bad. Marilyn Joy who has become a little paranoid runs to the nearest one and clubs it with her purse but that won’t be enough because the entire backup she has is Glen who was trying to fend off vamps from Tristy. Tristy tries to stake one but somehow he is able to avoid it. Glen kicks one in the groin while Debbie does the same. The student body after realizing the doors are locked decided to fight back. Attacking the vamps they use mob rule upon them. That’s when things went from bad to worse. Mr. Gruser the vice-principal explodes and in his wake a fat pustule of a demon rises up. He introduces himself as Big Tom. He engulfs the three nearest students then spews all over the rest.  He gets bigger with each victim he eats. Mr. and Mrs. K as well as Dante start to get the upper hand and kill off most of the vamps in their area. Bob with nothing else to do bum rushes Big Tom. This does nothing and only gets himself stuck within the things monstrous folds of skin. With things constantly swaying from good to bad Dante prays for a miracle and amazingly it seems to be answered. Three nuns who all look like sister Trinity walk in with mirrors hold them up to the beast and cover their eyes. Big Tom shrieks in horror at his own reflection as it burns his soul. All the vampires beat a fast retreat and Big Tom not wanting to stay around regurgitates his victims and climes up the walls with his vamp lackeys.
