S1CO1: Charmed
Charming
Screen Written by
It’s a fine autumn day and Tristy is tending her garden. She
plants bulbs and digs up herbs placing them into jars for her greenhouse. She
is uprooting a shrub when a strange shadow darts over the plant that she is
working on. Looking up slowly she suddenly sees a man dressed in black about
fifty feet away with a crossbow in hand aimed strait at her. It flies and at
the last second Tristy manages to dodge out of the way. Concentrating on the robed
mans weapon she uses her power to pry the weapon from
his hand sending straight to her. However when the bow reaches her hand it is
practically microscopic and when she looks up at the man he is gone. Scanning
her surroundings she sees nothing.
Then out of nowhere an arm reaches around
her throat and begins to choke her. Again using her telekinetic prowess she with all her will forces the man back. Unfortunately the man did not break his grip and Tristy was
taken back as well. Both land with a thud and both try to scramble to their
feet. Before Tristy even has time to react the man
descends apon her clutching his hands around her throat once more. Within a few
minutes Tristy blacks out. As if on cue a woman
appears in a flash of shimmering light (those of you who have seen charmed
recognize her as Paige) bearing a shovel. With a firm crack across the cloaked mans face and he is down. Running over to Tristy
she touches her and both disappear in the same flash of shimmering light.
Within the house of the Charmed Ones Piper is ascending the stairs
while Phoebe is at the table writing on a notepad. In the entrance way two
figures “orb” in. immediately both stop what their doing and rush their
noticing an extra person.
Paige kneels over Tristy and places a hand upon her white light
emanates and Tristy soon begins to regain consciousness. Waking up in a strange house amongst people she has never seen immediately makes her think that
she is having a vision. Clenching her eyes she opens
them again to see the same seen. Piper instigates the interrogation of Paige
asking the normal questions of whom she is and what she is doing here. Paige
regards her with a stern look and says that the girl is one of her new charges
appointed to her just this afternoon and that she was being attacked by a warlock
or maybe it could have been a dark lighter. With those words Piper calls down
Leo, he is there in moments. Explaining the situation to him
they all begin to think.
Needless to say Tristy is feeling a little flustered here. In
the midst of everything she has been trying to figure
out where she is and who these people are but no one seems to be listening.
Standing up she taps Paige on the shoulder. Paige turns. Tristy asks her
directly what happened and who she was. Paige tells her that she is her white lighter or “guardian Angel” sent from the heavens
to help her. Stunned Tristy steps back talking about how she can’t
have an angel, she doesn’t even believe in God. All of them shift their focus
to her and ask her her name. Answering Tristy they all
looked taken aback by the fact. Piper says that she has herd of her and that
she has made the papers for being involved in the deaths of two people. Tristy
tries to explain that both incidents weren’t her fault
and how her powers sometimes work on their own but they wouldn’t listen. They
said that if her powers didn’t work for her than her
blood itself must be causing her to do these horrible things. Looking shocked
Tristy takes another step back. Paige then goes on a tangent on how she needs
to do good things in the next three days and so forth. Tristy honestly thought
they had all gone insane, I mean how her blood could
be evil. Then into thin air Paige disappears and Piper
says she is going to consult the book, while Phoebe states that she has to be
off to work. This all leaves Tristy standing in the atrium near collapse. Then
her cell phone rings.
We come back and Tristy picks up her cell phone. On the other end
its Mr. K. asking her how she was doing. In her honest opinion
she told him bad and tried to get the point across that she somehow was
teleported out of Pleasantville and needed help but Mr. K. kept screwing up the
words so she had to constantly repeat when her phone goes dead. Looking down at
it in frustration she open up her hand and looks down at it (Paige enters
behind her). Focusing on it the phone starts to shake
then it explodes sending shrapnel thirteen different ways but all missing
Tristy. Shaking her head and asking the elders why they had sent one such as
her to her.
On the other side of the room a dark haired man shimmers in, it’s Cole. Coming over to the two witches
he pulls Paige aside and tells her that some group lead by this warlock named
Grim is out to kill Phoebe. Paige is the only one who can get there fast enough
(Cole could do it but we don’t think Phoebe would like
that). Paige agrees but only if Cole takes Tristy out to do some selfless acts.
He agrees and all of them orb and shimmer from the room.
Tristy and Cole end up in a park with people all
about. A commotion comes form their left as a woman has lost her stroller down
a hill and is pleading for help (yes it is cliché day here on Charmed). Tristy
not wanting to let the innocent die tries using her power to stop the stroller
when it doesn’t work. Cole turns to her saying he
forgot to mention that no powers are aloud. Taking off as fast as her legs
could carry her. Catching up she grabs the stroller and pulls it to safety.
However, while she is crossing the street a car comes straight at her. Frozen
with fear she us unable to move. Her body seizes up and just as the car is
about to hit her it passes right through her instead. Suddenly right beside
Cole he looks at her and says, “You can shimmer?” Confused she tries to find
out what shimmering is when
both shimmer out of the scene.
Act3:
We come in on Paige flashing into the office of Phoebe. Phoebe
jumps to her feet and runs to the window closing them and drawing the shades. Paige
runs to Phoebe telling her that her life is in danger from this group of
warlocks and their leader Grim. Gasping she asks how she knew this. Paige
thinks to tell her that it was Cole but decided against it.
Phoebe sees it just in time. She sees a bullet flying at the
window towards her face. She ducks out of the way. It misses and Phoebe pulls Paige
o the ground. Both crouch together and Paige orbs them back to the house.
At the house Phoebe, Paige, Piper, and Tristy
come in. Paige gasps as she notices that Tristy has shimmed and tells her that
she should never do that again. Piper puts the book out in front of her and
tells the rest that she thinks that she has found something. She calls Leo and
pulls open the book. It opens directly to the right Paige and Piper begins to
say that Tristy may be cursed. She goes on to say that Tristy is somehow a part
of this triad of witches who are the children of this powerful demon. She says
that Tristy will have to decide which path to chose through her acts and that
another bad thing could lead to her becoming evil. She tells them all that
there is no way she could be evil or her aunt would have told her not to use
her powers. Paige asks if she should get the aunt and the other three agree.
A moment later she is back with Tristy’s aunt in hand. Looking around she turns to the rest
of them and begins to demand that they tell her what is going
on and why she was brought here. She then spots Tristy and runs over to
her hugging her tight saying that everyone was looking for her. Then releases
and begins chastising her on leaving her garden a mess and all the punishments
she was going to get. As if suddenly remembering that there
where other people in the room she turns and again starts demanding an
explanation. Those all gather around and tell her aunt about the information
they had found. Leo goes over to the book and then regards the rest of them. He
says that things may be a tad bit worse than they originally thought.
Next Week’s Preview:
Hmm, what should we show you a Charmed One preview or next week’s
Slayers preview? Well stay tuned it might even be a different show cross over
(depending on which screen writer completes their task
first, damn those cheap writers). Grrrr! Rrrrr! The scary little skeletal
figure shambles across the screen with his arms reaching forward.
