CHARACTER HISTORY

Yes, my life was right were I wanted it. I was going to become a doctor, just like my dad. I even dissected frogs, pigs, and even cats. Heck, I had no life, just studying, taking advancement courses, and reading more books. I didn’t have a social life, but for curing cancer it was going to be worth it. Unfortunately both my parents were killed in an accident (NO, I’m not talking about it!) I was forced to move to Wisconsin, so I could live with my grandma.

Lucky for me, Ruby, one of my friends was also moving to Pleasantville, Wisconsin. At least I would have one friend my junior year of high school. I am sitting in the cafeteria on my first day of school when this weirdo showed up, he whispers in my ear “Do you still have it?” Needless to say I wigged out and. So I sprayed mace in his face. Well, it was not my best move, immediately everyone is watching me, the guy is screaming on the ground, and the liaison officer is approaching me. I ended up in the office and apologizing profusely. I feel bad about it now, but I thought he was some kind of creep, abductor, or even worse.

The rest of the day was spent in ALAC, serving my suspension. Lucky me I should have been arrested. After school my grandma chewed me out thoroughly, but I was rescued by Ruby. We went to school to check out the TV Productions instructor, some guy who asked a bunch of students to join him that night. When I get there I freaked out when I met the instructor, Mr. K. He was the guy I sprayed in the cafeteria. He explains to me that I am the Slayer and he is my Watcher. He was actually asking me about a mole I had removed. I had no idea that anyone at school would know about it. He seemed to have information on everyone there (Ruby, Tristy, Dante, and Glen). He went to say that he could prove I was the Slayer, and threw a knife at me; lucky for me I caught it.

We all went to the Carnival to find out what he meant. I ran into my first vampire.  It scared me, but I staked right through the heart and he turned to dust. Well needless to say the rest of the group was even weirder than me, but I was beginning to believe Mr. K.

Afterwards we began training in various combat techniques. He even started teaching me about various different types of mystical critters; he placed most of his emphasis on how to kill them. Needless to say prior to becoming a Slayer I was not a gifted athlete, but I was healthy and fairly nimble (heck, I use to be a ballerina). Now I can even arm-wrestle the football players and win. I don’t even need to wear my glasses. I still wear; I figure if it worked for Clark Kent, it just might work for me.

My biggest complaint is trying to figure out a medical reason behind vampires, but have you ever tried to do an autopsy on a pile of dust? I don’t even know if I will live long enough to go to med school, find a cure for cancer, or even graduate from high school, but at least I can remove one type of cancer from earth, vampires.

Quote: “Hmm let me guess – cause of death was intense trauma to the cranial compound fracture. As Bob would say, “Crushed skull.”

Role Playing

You are not afraid to do your own research; actually it is one of your strengths (scientific research). Unfortunately, try as hard as you can, you cannot always come up with a scientific explanation for the supernatural things you run into. You use to be shy, withdrawn, and people didn’t pick on you (try ignored you), but now you are constantly be harassed by supernatural creatures who seem to know you before you even know what they are. You are use to being an outsider. Being a Slayer hasn’t hurt your social life, but it is affecting your grades. You are attempting to burn the candle at both ends. Sooner or later your grandma is going to get curious as to why your grades are dropping. Hopefully grandma will think it is because of boy, drugs, or something else, but not what it is you are actually doing.
