The leader of a the ex-Chicas was born Gabriela del Espadon in Mexico during the 1830s, the daughter of a wealthy land baron. She met a dark, handsome, ex-tremely tall stranger one night, Estavon. Her life changed that night when he bit her, made her into a vamp, and the two had a brief, passionate and abusive relationship that ended when she cut off his head after a bout of lovemaking. But that was not the end of Estavon. Gabriela has had little use for men since then, and built a gang of man-hating vamps over the ensuing decades.
She continued to wander throughout north and south America. Recently she came to Pleasantville to set up shop. She wanted to settle down and set up a permanent shop for her and the Chicas, but unfortunately the Slayers got in her way and the Chicas were destroy, but it wasn't a total loss. She found out that Estavon was still alive, somehow he was resurrected and has been hunting her down. The Slayers (Hope) killed, but it wouldn't last, he came back and for a third time he was finally killed. She fled, but not for long. She came back with a vengeance and used the Djinn to gain an edge, but it didn't last and she ended up fleeing again, but this time she made a pledge with Dante not to come back to Pleasantville. She wandered off and some how ended up tangling with Dante again. Fortunately, Dante spared her life again and she promised not to get involved with his affairs again. She was falling in love with him, a happy meal.
Recently she found some ancient scrolls that prophesies Dante and Virgil' becoming demon champions to stop an ancient evil. She decided it was time to go back to Pleasantville and warn Dante about the prophecy. It seems she has lost Dante again, but at least she was able to start her gang over again.
