So, you want to know my life. I must tell you it is not exactly the greatest tale ever told but it should keep your interest at least for a little while. It begins about thirty years ago when I was born. My mother had a set of twins being my sister and I. We grew up in and old house outside of town rarely going into the city for anything. We were happy to live out our lives away from the rest of the world. I always knew that somehow we were different from the rest of the inhabitants of Pleasantville I just never new why. Then when I was twelve my mother began to take me aside and told me things that she never told my sister. She said that I had a gift. Only the Hatil women have the gift that has been handed down through the generations. She begun to teach me things that started out as simple chants and songs and I took them as good fun but than when I began to sing sometimes things would happen. It wasn’t shortly after that I began to peer into people’s minds perceiving their thoughts and even sending them thoughts. I remember when it first happened. I was homesick one day at school and I really wanted to talk to my mother, well, I began thinking of what I wanted to say to her and then I heard her voice answering me back. She was overjoyed when I did this she said that my true gift had shown through. It seemed that I had the power of Telepathy.
While I was having the time of my life learning all about spells and magic I didn’t even notice my sister getting more and more distant. One day she just up and left telling me how I was always mommy’s favorite and that she never had the time of day for her. While I look back and feel horrible how it must have been for her in those few final years. She left for two years before coming back but now she was pregnant and sill refused to talk to me. She had the child and named her Tristy after our mother.
She grew up so fast and before you knew it she was already twelve. One day my sister arrived at my door and told me only that she was leaving and that I could take care of her freak of a daughter. I could see in her mind that somehow Tristy had gained the gift and that my sister had no idea what was going on with her. I then went to the mental facility and had her released immediately. Seeing as her mother abandoned her to me the state made me her legal guardian. I began to teach her how to do a quick chant or two to change the winds direction and how to light candles with nothing but her breath and a power. She developed her power as well and now she is quite a powerful telekinetic. She has confided in me about her recent experiences with this slayer person. I’m not sure I like this girl taking my niece out night after night to kill things. I just take relief in the fact that the dearly departed Sid’s nephew Dante is out there with her.

Roleplaying:
You are as far as you know the only witching family in these parts. This gives you an edge in Pleasantville, especially since you have been formally taught. You know some very potent magic and are not afraid to use it. However, you have not had to for several years. As of right now you have taken to the quiet life creating beauty though magic and are. You have also spent most of your time molding the next generation of the Hatil family.
