Background

Freedom, Beauty, Truth, and Love. No I am not a Bohemian Revolutionary. I am just a musician. My lie has not been one of hardship, but it has been one of difference. Ever since I was little I knew that I was not like the rest of my infantile throng. i always thought of things in different ways. Like when I was inside the lines. Well, one could argue that was a turning point in my life. I hated being told what I cold do. I found that gong against what was expected of me was sort of a thrill. I just didn't know how different I would become.
By the time I started middle school I was so far different from everyone else I just couldn't find friends anywhere. I dressed in all black to show my difference to the world and covered my face in white to symbolize my isolation from the rest of my peers. I wasn't totally alone though. I took solace in the library studying art and the occult and eventually taking up the violin and piano. With little time to devote to other activities I had the luxury of devoting myself entirely to my music. I, in fact, became quite proficient with both instruments, so good that my instructor set up a recital at the school before the entire student body. I wasn't sure how to react but eventually agreed to perform.
So, the day came, I stood off stage with my violin in one hand and its bow in the others and with a final deep breath I walked on stage. There wasn't a single clap and not a single recognition for what I was about to do. Actually, I recall the football team and cheerleaders chanting at stage something along the lines of "Gothic Fag, Gothic Fag!" I ignored their chant and began to play. With the first strum of my violin the auditorium silent, including the ravings of the athletic department. For two hours I remember I played one song flowing into the next. With the final note I stared blankly at the audience and walked off stage. A torrid of cheers and acclimation flooded over the assembled crowed. I only could sit and cry off sage, I felt so cheap that I had allowed them to hear my music.
The next day I walked into the school and was immediately bombarded with compliments and apologies. How they thought they could win me over was beyond me. I remembered what they use to say to me, and would not allow them to take me and pretend to be my friends. People began to dress like me and I became the highlight of the schools music department. It sickens me how I sold myself to the world and I would give anything to take it back.

Quote: Caleb brandishes axe, "You disgust me poser... you'll have one hell of a headache when I'm done, but don't worry you won't be alive to feel it."

Roleplaying

You are two steps away from officially taking matters into your own hands. These posers are starting to think that they are you. Something has been off ever since you gave that concert to the assembly. However, only the unpopular kids seem to be mimicking you. In either case you feel cheep and used and you want it to go away. Also you know that all is not right within this town and you have been studying the occult for years due to boredom.
